SOURCING: We source our tallow from USA small farmers who practice regenerative agriculture. This means that they rotationally graze their cows all year long, never feeding anything other than grass. These healthy, happy cows create a beautiful, golden yellow fat that contains high levels of vitamins and minerals. Our suet is hand-rendered by our skilled team before it is scent-approved and then used in our tallow formula, crafted by hand in small batches.

Highly recommend .. love it!! face finally feels hydrated and soft!!
Amazing product! With winter.. my facial skin started feeling a bit chapped and itchy I tried multiple lotions and creams with nothing solving this.. until now! I ordered the orange vanilla which has a very pleasant fragrance and no sign that it is beef tallow! I was worried I would smell like a steak 😃 but not the case!! After just 4 days of using my skin feels soft and hydrated. The balm is whipped it is a balm however it’s not hard especially as you glide your fingers over it to get the small amount needed. It feels soft and lightweight not like creams and lotions. It takes the smallest amount so well worth the money so the size of the product is good and will last a long time since it takes so little to use!! Love this!

Life changing!
This product is THE BEST. I have been using it about a month. My husband was the first to comment that my crows feet had lessened. I noticed that my skin wasn’t flaking off with winter dryness. To be honest I probably apply it too heavy at night, then rub it on my hands and arms (no more dry elbows). In the morning I use just a little and smooth it on for the day. The skin under my eyes is less crepey and is actually soft even if I forget to put it on in the morning. This stuff is literally life changing. My face has not looked this glowing in years. It Has even helped with my perimenopause skin issues. (Thanks hormones). People seem concerned about the price however I have spent way more and had less use with other products. I am less than halfway through my first jar (second jar got delivered today) and as I said I use it on the heavy side at night. That means I have roughly more than a month left. Well worth it is what I am trying to say. I hope I never go without this product because it’s amazing. I would recommend this to everyone. I will also mention my skin is sensitive on my face and other products would cause me to break out in pimples or a rash. Not once have I had a single irritation from this product! I did a lot of reading on beef tallow before purchasing and I’m so happy I chose hearth and homestead. The product is smooth and melts in your skin. Literally melts. My lips are crazy smooth and I feel it has helped with my creases around my mouth as I am a smoker. (Yes I know it’s a horrible habit, I agree) I can’t speak enough good about this tallow!!!! I waited a month to review even though I was so impressed after the first week! This whipped tallow is the real deal. It’s amazing!

Extremely satisfied
I usually hate face creams and lotions cause they feel gross and I have sensitive skin so they give me a rash or a breakout, but this has a nice feel on your skin like a silky buttery smoothness. The coffee smell is so nice and covers up most all the beefy smell. Still a tiny bit beefy but not bad it just reminds you that it’s an all natural product. I’ve never had an all natural product like this and my skin can feel the difference. I can see the difference. My t zone is usually dry and flaky especially in the winter but this helps moisturize tremendously. I use it on my lips and it’s better than any lip balm I’ve had. It makes my skin glow and feel perkier. It looks perkier also. I’ve noticed it’s refreshed my skin and even faded my eleven lines, smile lines, some of my dark spots, etc. This is a product I’m excited to put on my skin. I like the glass jar. As far as the price I wish there was a little more product for it, but the product quality is worth it. And it’s supporting a small business with natural ingredients so I gotta respect the hustle.🤷🏼♀️🫡

Amazing Product!!!
My husband had watched a TikTok video about Tallow balm and he wanted to order it from TikTok. My initial thought was I have very sensitive skin and I tend to have allergic reactions. I get contact dermatitis from certain perfumes, certain soaps, certain lotions, so I have to be very careful. I told him that I would find my own and give it a try. I went through a lot of reviews for different ones and when I found Hearth & Homestead I was so happy to find one that had great reviews. So I made the leap and bought the original. I wasn’t sure what the texture was going to be like because I’ve never bought this stuff before. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was creamy. It’s like whipped butter, but doesn’t leave behind that oily feel which I had expected. I use my hands a lot at work like dishes, scrubbing drains, cutting open boxes, stocking, etc. I have my fair share of calluses. I love this stuff. I went through the whole jar. I started putting it on my feet before bed and putting my socks on, my feet feel amazing the next day. I finally ran dry of the original and decided to try the lavender this time. I opened it up and again I just love the texture, consistency is key! The smell is not overpowering at all. Immediately upon putting it on my hands, they felt instantly hydrated. I have added this into my skin care regime at the young age of 42. I ordered the 1.3 ounce jar and the first one lasted over a month. A little goes a long way. I definitely recommend this product!

Great smell, not greasy. Good moisture.
This stuff is so good!! I tried another brand first and it was good but super greasy. When it ran out I found this one and decided to give it a try. It is perfect! I love the vanilla orange. Like an orange creamsicle. And it’s not too greasy. I used a small amount and it was plenty for my face and did not make me feel greasy. Idk if it’s good under makeup but I use it at night anyway so doesn’t bother me.

Absolutely excellent product
My wife and I have tried different tallow blends but came away dissatisfied. Then we purchased the Wilmoth Family product and established complete brand loyalty. My wife prefers butter almond and I prefer a citrus blend, but each of these products become part of your skin quickly, not appearing oily like some other brands we have tried….and it actually works….larger wrinkles have diminished greatly and skin tone increased dramatically.

I cannot recommend this product enough!!! My 16 month old has been suffering with quite bad eczema patches on her back and arms recently and within a week of using this after her baths (which I also put natural colloidal oats in) it’s 99% cleared!!! It’s definitely worth the money. I don’t normally write reviews but I just had to as I’m so pleased with the results and knowing it’s organic and natural with no nasties!
