This Baby Proof Me baby nail file kit has really helped me to safely trim my baby’s nails. Nail trimming is an essential part of baby grooming. Their nails are thin and when they grow they can becomes very sharp. They tend to scratch themselves and other. This file is easy to use and works great. It has a very quiet motor, so baby doesn’t get startled. It has an easy to grip handle and an LED light to help you see clearly when filing. I mostly like that it helps to make a pain free nail trimming experience. It seems to be durable and is a great value.

Too weak and “safe”
I was excited to use this for both my baby and toddler but ended up a bit disappointed. The safety feature that causes the rotation to stop if it gets too much pressure is too aggressive and stops to easily and we found it would we could not even file well. It certainly didn’t work for our toddler and we went back to a standard file. For our 6 month old it was a bit helpful to soften edges on toenails but ultimately I prefer a standard file since this was hard to lineup properly on tiny baby toes. I do like the holder with different sanding levels and the light is nice. My toddler did actually enjoying trying it herself, and it was nice knowing she wouldn’t hurt herself. The file itself is quiet and neither kiddos seemed bothered by it, it just didn’t work well for us.

Gentle Nail File for babies and toddlers
I have been using baby nail clippers with a small filer to get the job done but it is a challenge depending on my child’s mood. This device has been very convenient on those days where it can be a challenge. I like the idea that the Nail File has 5 baby/child options and are attached in the handle and easy to swap for our needs. They are gentle to use and have 2 speeds High and Low. Love the built in light to get to see close up to see the small details. It does not make a lot of noise which is nice not to distract my child but can feel a bit weak to file the nail down. It does a decent job with patience. The good thing is my child actually enjoyed watching it go and wanted to try it on her own. Great portable device to have in our diaper bag and do enjoy using it. I would recommend it as a great gift for any new/current parents and for anyone who does not have the patience, this has been helpful.

Would be a 5 star product if I knew where to purchase replacement file head stickers
This nail trimmer just makes sense! The size fits in your had very well. It super easy to use and it comes with a great little storage pouch and all of the accessories are stored on the actual device which makes it very convenient if you want to switch heads.My only reason for giving it a 4 star is because the replacement file heads are not easy to find. I searched the seller page and came up short so when it comes time to replace them I don’t know what I’m going to- I’ve used it a number of times and haven’t needed to replace one but the time will eventually come.I have another nail Dremel type file that was around the same price and it came with a tin of extra file stickers BUT I do actually like this one better.Our toddler has used it on his one toes and I know he’s dropped it a few times and it’s still fully intact so I say it’s pretty dang durable too!Overll I would consider this a quality product and would be happy to recommend it to others.

Easy to use and safe for babies.
This nail file tool is easy to use on our child and is very gentle.This is a tool to use while they are still young and have small nails. The pressure plate is meant to prevent accidents of pushing too hard, as filing you can accidently push too hard and grind through too much with other files or manual filing. This makes it easier to be safer.It has built in storage and a little light that doesn’t blind you.Works like a charm, turn it on and apply gentley to your child’s nails.So far we have not had any issues with causing any accidents or pain. It is also soft enough if it slips and accidently makes skin contact, since the pressure will stop the mechanism.

Works great
I bought this because I kept accidently nicking my 14-month old’s finger tip when I would use a nail clipper on him. It’s easy to use, and works great as long as you keep the finger to the outside of the pad. It’s quiet, so it doesn’t scare him at all. In fact, he seems interested in it, so he sits still while he’s getting his pain-free mani.

Not strong enough
I really wanted to love the Baby Nail File Kit. It seemed like such a great idea, especially with the different settings and the LED lights – super easy and straightforward to use, which is a huge plus when you’re trying to trim tiny nails!But honestly, even the strongest file just doesn’t seem to do much for my 9-month-old’s nails, let alone my 2-year-old’s. I was hoping for something that would make nail care a breeze, but it just doesn’t quite get the job done for us.
