Product description

Can it be used on newborns?
Yes, the Tinabless Baby Nail Trimmer is specifically designed for newborns and includes color-coded grinding heads for different ages: grey for 0-5 months, light purple for 6-12 months, and yellow for 12+ months.
How often should I trim baby nails?
Baby nail trimming frequency depends on age and growth rate: Newborns (0-3 months): Every 2-3 days as their nails grow very quickly, Older babies (4+ months): 1-2 times per week.
What if baby moves too much?

Yes, the Tinabless Baby Nail Trimmer requires 1 AAA batteries to operate (batteries not included).
Can adults use this trimmer?
Yes, the Tinabless Baby Nail Trimmer Electric is designed for adults too! It includes 3 filing tools specifically for adult use – soft white pads for polishing, dark purple pads for shaping, and pink pads for detailed nail work.

Works great
First one arrived defective. Replacement file works perfect. Thank you.

Good file for baby nails
The light is a bit useless because the file head blocks the path of the light so you can file the finger in the dark but the file itself otherwise works great for baby nails!

Meh
Sometimes One sits for her nails, sometimes it’s a tussle. I was hoping that this would do the trick on those razors at the end of her fingers. It worked okay. There are numerous different attachments for different ages (0mo – adult). It comes in a little plastic case so you can keep them all in one spot. However, the attachment pieces dont click in. Unless you keep the see thru junky plastic cover to go inside (that looks like packing junk) then the attachments fly all over the case when you move it. It works so so. It’s good in a pinch if I have to try and get one super bad nail okay real quick. I still end up needing to file with a different file however. The speed and the board don’t seem to jive seamlessly. It’s also a bit bulky. It’d be easier to work on little’s nails if it were a skinnier handle. Overall, I’m under impressed.

No information on how to order replacement pads.
Pros:Stops when pressure is applied.Different types of pads for various ages.Very quiet. Two different speeds going each direction.A light to help you see what you are doing.Very nicely organized storage case.Rubber feet on the bottom of the storage case.My nails do feel smoother after my first use.Cons:It does not come with batteries.I don’t know where to get additional pads for adult use.

Perfect for babies who are wiggly
This little kit is absolutely amazing. It comes with multiple heads for different age ranges on babies and it is so gentle it will never hurt them. This makes my daughter’s nails so smooth but if it touches her skin it stops which is great but she is very squirmy. I can file her nails super fast as well and way better than with a traditional file. You need this.

If you havn’t, try these
Three kids in, and I can honestly say that had we had this at the start, we could have avoided many traumatic experiences on both sides.Using standard style clippers on tiny fingers is near impossible. Flash back 9 years ago when we had our first and my husband was scarred for life after accidentally nicking the tip of our daughter’s finger while attempting to trim her baby talons. He justifiably wanted no part in cutting their nails afterwards. Numerous crunchy parents told us to just use our mouths on the tiny hands….yeah, no.Fast forward to three years ago when a family friend had just had their second and we were visiting and she whips out one of these. No fuss, no trauma, and in my opinion, way faster finished results, and no rough edges to scratch their beautiful baby faces. Ordered one that night from my phone before we even left their house. The bad, they are battery goblins. If your kids knock them off the couch, the back plate is going to pop off and eventually break. They are definitely not bomb proof tools. But for the price, I wouldn’t expect that anyways. Nothing some painter’s tape can’t fix. This will be our third nail nail grinder. As the kids get older, it takes a little longer to get their tougher nails trimmed down. Have gone back to clipping then filing with this on the bigger two. Hoping the metallic round pad might be able to help make some progress on the bigger nails too. Kind of wish there was a long corded version….when have we ever wished for a corded version? When the batteries are new, this thing works like a dream. by the end of the second kid, you are starting to lose some production value as the spin slows down and bogs down to a stop if you press too hard. Probably a safety design at some level, but it would be nice to not feel like I need to change the batteries at their half life just to be able to use this as intended.
