Good amount per package & functional
I just need a few set of the cover and this portion was just right and the price is also great. I am not a fan of having to get more than needed and the rest ends up in a landfill.Of course, the cover works very well. Bought to protect end of extension cord to engine block heater from weather.
When engine block heater is not plugged into extension cord, water or snow can enter the extension cord socket holes making it hard to plug the block heater in later or unplug after it has been plugged in.Tried some other things to protect the socket holes, but they didn’t work as well as hoped.This fills all 3 holes and both inserts and removes easily (the pull handle helps removal).Admittedly was only able to try late in the season, as I only found them as weather was warming.But next winter I will get to evaluate them better (unless global warming eliminates winter before then).

Bought for someone else!
I first bought this 10-pack of outlet covers for someone else in December 2020 (for $5) and it arrived far earlier than expected! I cannot comment on the quality but hopefully there have been zero issues since the recipient still uses them without complaint. Because of this and the fact that it was sold at a decent price, the “Bates- Outlet Covers Child Proof, 10 Pack, 3 Prong Outlet Covers, Baby Proof Outlet Covers, Baby Outlet Covers, Child Proof Outlet Cover, Child Safety Outlet Covers, Electrical Safety Baby Products” [sic] gets a serviceable 3/5 stars!

We have an island in the kitchen and our English Cocker Spaniel likes to watch us prepare food. Unfortunately, his claws are right at the level of the electrical outlets. Our concern, (realistically or not) was that he could hurt himself if his claws accidentally came in contact with the outlet. Once these protectors were inserted, we have better piece of mind.
