Great for tall bed
I at first bought the amazon choice for bedside bassinet, but it was way too short for our mattress, bassinet was 17 inches at highest setting. The top of our mattress is 32 inches from floor. We bought this bassinet and it, as other reviews state, does lean (is not level). I added a few furniture sliders under one side to level it out. After using the straps to pull it to the bed, it is very sturdy and level. I highly recommend this bassinet for a taller bed. It is not on the tallest setting and fits perfectly beside our bed. I can reach over and grab my baby or give him his paci without sitting up. It would not, however, be able to raise over the mattress, like in the advertisement. Hopefully this helps others.

I really wanted the halo bassinet but didn’t want to spend the money for something he will be in limited time! This is such a dupe! It’s sturdy and good quality! Very easy to assemble, and also love that the pad is removable easy to wash and keep clean!

By far the best purchase we made as first time parents. Super sturdy and easy to get our baby in and out of. It sits over our tall bed and frame but can go down and mounts to the mattress which gave me peace of mind. Poor baby is long and fits great still at five months

Has flaws
The mattress pad is not waterproof and has to be washed when there’s an accident or spit up and the batting inside gets all twisted. I literally had to unstitch the side to straighten it back out then restitch it. Additionally, the other reviews are accurate – this thing is NOT level unless you put something under the back legs.

Fits in RV master bedroom
Fits in a RV and that’s all we would ask for. The legs fit just under the bed and it raises perfectly over the bed mattress. Definitely can’t go no where. Plus it holds snacks while waiting for the baby to get here
