This tape is washable and reusable. No silicone tape/dressing will make a scar disappear–but with realistic expectations of limiting scaring on fresh injuries and surgical sites, this stuff is hard to beat for its value.I have a mild skin allergy to many non-sliicone adhesives. I had the top-of-the line Mepilex silicone-adhesive post-operative dressing placed after a Surgury, and the skin-contact side of this seems to be made of the same (but non-perferated) material.After a wound is past its initial stage of healing and the scab has fallen off, this stuff seems to do a good job. From what I can tell, it seems silicone has two potential roles in reducing scar formation: maintaining skin moisture, and reducing shear stresses to reduce fiberous collagen deposition. This tape seems to do both quite well. In any case, my surgeon seemed to think it was a good idea and doing well.The price on this tape is right, too. At around $12 a roll, it should last most of the first few months post-injury or surgery. The tape can be taken off, washed with soap, and reapplied after a shower many times without meaningful reduction in its stickiness. I’m getting a good 3+ weeks out of each strip I tear off, only shaping out when it starts to tear in the middle along its pre-made perforations.

I’ve been using these silicone scar sheets for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed! They’re comfortable to wear and easy to apply. Great product for scars and wrinkles
This scar tape works great. It has helped to improve the look of old scars. I wear it on my forehead, 11’s, and nose while I sleep at night and feel it really helps reduce wrinkles, and doesn’t allow my skin to move and crease in those areas while I sleep. Will buy this stuff on repeat.

I have only been using the scar tape for a few days. One thing I noticed immediately was how easy it was to place over my scar and how well it stayed on for several hours. It is very soft and does not bother my scar like some other products I have tried. It is a great value for the price! Looking forward to watching my scar improve!

Helps with forehead lines while I sleep!
I started using this silicone tape not for scars, but to reduce the appearance of my forehead wrinkles—and it works! I cut a small strip and place it across my forehead before bed. I love the silicone scar sheets. I have an allergy to latex and these do not cause any problems. It helps with scars, sores that are having a hard time healing and I use them to protect my toe rubbing on the other when it’s irritated.
