Nail clipper perfection!
My now ten year old has been using it since he was an infant and it’s still going strong! It still makes very clean cuts, it doesn’t cause the nails to shatter, and it’s a heck of a bang for the buck! The plastic base makes it easier to hold especially when you’re dealing with little babies and their precious fingers. It has a little slot on the upper portion that acts like a window so that you can see what you’re cutting, if anything. In ten years, we’ve never had anything but nails cut. This is the best nail clipper design ever. I wish they made ones for adults.

Love these clippers. Bought a new pair for my 2nd kid so each has their own set. They work so well and the window is super helpful to get a close trim without nicking their tiny fingers. My kids never give me an issue when it comes to nail trims. Quick and easy.

I absolutely loveeeee these nail clippers for my 3month-old! I was absolutely terrified to clip her nails when she was first born! She had very long nails and she was scratching her face up! I’ve used these clippers since she was a few weeks old, and they are greattttt!!!! At first I struggled a bit, but if you look through the little “spy hole” instead of looking towards the clipper and trying to put the nail in it, it makes it a whole lot easier! Then it’s a piece of cake!! I recently lost my original pair, and so I ordered this new one, I also ordered a second (different brand) one to try which has a light and little magnifying glass, nope! Even with the light and magnifying glass, it’s much harder. The Frida with the spy hole, I will forever use this one!!! You can see exactly what your clipping!! So NO ACCIDENTS!! I am no longer terrified to trim my baby girl’s nails thanks to these “fridababy” nail clippers!! The little clipper part, the blade or whatever you want to call it, it’s also very sharp so it cuts fantastic!! I was actually surprised with how smooth it cuts!! Literally the smoothest cutting nail clippers I’ve ever used!! The only thing, you got to have good lighting! It would be nice if they would make a pair with a little light on it! But other than that, these are absolutely amazing!! Game changer!! I highly recommend these Frida nail clippers with the spy hole!! Oh they also come with a little file, I don’t use it but it looks like a good one. Good quality! With the nail clippers you can see every little thing you’re cutting in the spy hole, so you can even get the little corners of the nail so there’s nothing pokey.

Quick, Easy and Sharp Cut
I tried using it where I could see the nail through the “little window” and although it worked, I found it a little tedious. It was much easier to do it a different way. It was hard to take pics to show since I needed one of my hands to take the pic. I found it was easier to hold my babys hand up (or each finger), pointing towards the sky. I then held the clippers straight up over her nail, to where the white hand piece was facing me (to where the window was not facing my direction). I hope this makes sense! It was quicker and easier this way, vs using it the way you would have to, in order to use the “window” feature on them. The nail clippers are great. They cut quick and sharp (as in you barely have to push down on them). You can slide nail under the clippers to avoid nicking. They are easy to press down and cut much easier and quicker then others I have used. I did not use the file yet so have nothing to say about that. To me, the window feature is not that great. If your babies nails were really really long, then maybe this would help?? Regardless the clippers are great.

Super easy to use and safe. I’ve tried other baby nail clippers, and I had a hard time cutting the nail or seeing what I was doing. I even had to press hard to cut it. This caused several accidents with my little one’s nails. So, while looking for a better nail clipper, I found this one and was very happy to see how easily it cut my baby’s little nails. Highly recommended.

I bought this for my newborn second child, whose face was starting to get scratched by their sharp baby talons. I didn’t want to use the adult nail clippers, as our pediatrician cautioned that it’s very easy to over-clip newborn nails and cause bleeding. We had used FridaBaby’s NoseFrida snot-sucker multiple times on our first child, so I willing to pay their relatively high price for a product from a company that makes high quality and effective products.The nail clipper and nail file feel very well made, the nail clipper especially. It’s made of very solid materials, and the clipping movement feels very smooth and precise. I found the window was well placed and enabled me to see my newborn’s nails easily as I attempted to clip them. However, after multiple attempts, I found that the clippers were just not working. The overlapping blades would just not cut my newborn’s nails, I assume because baby’s nails are so thin and flexible.The nail file did not seem to be very effective at filing my newborn’s nails either. Perhaps FridaBaby uses a very fine grit for the file to prevent parents from hurting their child while grooming them, but I found that it took an unreasonable amount of time to file away the tiniest amount of my newborn’s nails.Ultimately, I ended up (very carefully!) using my own nail clippers on my newborn, and all was well. I’m guessing the nail clipper will work better once my newborn’s nails harden, so I’ll try again then and update this review.

If you like to cut your nails with a scissor, that is for you.I don’t use it. Even my kids like the normal nail cutter.
