Installation Tips
The locks can be affected by any Iron/Metal (Screws, nails or staples) that may be present inside the cabinet doors, and not visible. Before installing the lock with the adhesive, move it around the inside of the door, leaving the lock in the locked position. If the locks does not pop up, it has detected a ferrous metal inside the cabinet door. Simply move the lock away until the locks can pop up, and install the lock in that position.

Does this scratch your cabinets?
The magnet it pretty powerful and make contact by hovering over the lock on the inside. Rubbing would scratch your white finish but rubbing is not required to use these stronger vmaisi brand magnets.
Is it easy to remove? Will it stick the painting of the furniture?
Yes they remove clean with alcohol. You need to be careful taking them off, to not peel off any part of your cabinet.
Some locks are not staying in the lock position. Is this a defect?
It turns out the the metal cabinet knob or possibly the metal screw holding the knob had become magnetized. So just moved the lock about a half an inch further away from the metal knob and then it worked!
Drawers of my dresser does not even close properly. How to solve the issue?
For inset drawers, the included tool aids in placing the catch deep enough to allow the drawer to close. Most of the dresser drawers required to mount the lock sideways (it still functions!). The included inset ruler tool works well to solve this.

No falling off during install + forgiving placement
TL;DR: This product is amazing. After a terrible experience with another brand, this magnetic lock was a huge relief. The mounting tool actually stays in place, the measuring tool works well (even with uneven cabinet gaps), and the design allows a little wiggle room so installation doesn’t have to be perfect. Solid, well-designed product and worth the money, especially for parents.I ordered this after wasting three magnetic locks from another manufacturer and sending it back for a refund. Honestly I felt like a moron because I couldn’t do it. This product, however, was different. The mounting tool fits snugly onto the lock, which makes installation so much easier. With the other product, the lock kept sliding off during install; this one stays put.The measuring tool didn’t fully solve the spacing issues on my cheaper cabinets and drawers (different gaps and insets), but this method worked perfectly every time:1. I used a piece of paper to find the exact distance, then marked it on the measuring tool with a tiny rubber band.2. I attached the lock (without the backing) and the measuring tool to the mounting tool. (just the top piece, not the part with the switch)3. Using the measuring tool, I affixed the lock portion with light pressure… just incase I needed to remove it.4. I attached the other part (the piece with the switch) without the backing to the mounting tool.5. Closed the door or drawer.6. Tested it in case I needed to reposition it (I didn’t have to reposition any of the locks).7. Applied pressure and waited to use it as instructed.One final thing I really appreciated: unlike the other brand, this installation tool leaves a small amount of wiggle room before the lock catches. So, unlike the other product, the distance doesn’t have to be precise.After my terrible experience with the other manufacturer, I was very nervous to try another product, but this is genuinely high quality and worth it.

Honestly hands down the best purchase in regard to one of those “I didn’t know I needed that” things. These are seriously the best for any toddlers and can be used in sooooo many different ways! I couldn’t recommend this more, and will say that the install is quick and easy, built quality is top notch, sticky pads are very very strong, and included magnets work well! Most importantly, yes, they function very much as intended and no worries as your toddler will it have access without the two included magnetic keys that unlock the magnet activated locking system.

Safe, reliable, simple
These are great! Pretty simple to install and invisible from the outside (as seen in the video).It took some getting used to. Meaning, I wasn’t exactly sure where the lock was on the cabinet. We don’t have them marked from the outside so it took some trial and error but by now I have it pretty dialed in and can easily and quickly open cabinets.I also like that you can unlock them from the inside. So, if you’re doing dishes and need to get in and out without the fob you can. Just don’t let your little one see you!Very durable and I see these lasting us through our child’s youth.TLDR; Safe, reliable, look good.

These work great, however installation is key. I just used the tape adhesive and should have also used screws to install these. The tape is very strong, but if you have heavy handed people in the household, they will come off.

Easy, high quality, outstanding child locks
Absolutely phenomenal product, super easy to use, install, and very high quality materials. My wife and I have had an in-home daycare for almost ten years and these cabinet locks are the best and easiest I’ve ever installed. They come with an installation tool that means you don’t even have to measure anything. The adhesive they use is a high quality 3M adhesive so that if you clean with rubbing alcohol before applying them the included screws aren’t even needed, unless you have an extraordinarily strong and determined kiddo in your home. Also the cool magnet keys that open them, combined with the fact that you can disable the lock for daily use when kids aren’t around, means they are very convenient for daily use as well. Five-star product.

La mejor compra que he hecho desde que mi bebé camina..jaja las puse en las puertas y cajones de la cocina y la paz volvió a mi cocina. No trae instrucciones para la instalación pero hay videos en YT y realmente es muy sencillo, yo misma las instalé. Tampoco trae los tornillos para asegurarlos bien…creo que deberían incluirlos, pero tampoco fue tanto lío conseguirlos.

Muy buen producto, llegó en tiempo, cumple perfectamente su función de seguridad para niños. Los adhesivos que incluye tienen un perfecto agarre para niños hasta de 5 años. En caso de niños mayores incluye tornillos los cuales dan una mejor fijación que dependerá más de la calidad del mueble donde lo instales que del seguro.Son sumamente fáciles de instalar, muy resistentes y el imán tienen una potencia excelente para el tipo de mueble para el que está diseñado. Incluye un marco de guía y una regleta para alinear de forma más fácil el seguro y la contra.Yo lo instalé en cajones y puertas de libreros, cómoda, bufetera y despensero. Con muebles de madera, MDF y aglomerado, en todos funcionó de manera correcta y el imán libera el seguro sin problema alguno.Incluye stickers para que se pueda identificar la ubicación del seguro, en mi caso no los utilice por el color de los mismos. Estaría genial que fueran un poco más discretos, pero es un detalle mínimo y va de acuerdo a las necesidades de cada persona.Sin duda una excelente compra y por un precio muy inferior a 1st S.

Llevo 3 meses usándolos. En unos gabinetes incluso mi bebé se apalanca y los jala y no se han caído!!! Solo están puestos con el pegamento, pero te vienen con pequeñas pijas para mejor agarre.Definitivamente una necesidad si no quieres que los seguros de las puertas se vean desde afuera
