Easy to set up, perfect for dog
I got this gate because my dog and the dog we’re currently fostering haven’t been getting along, and I needed a way to separate them at times without totally shutting one in another room or crating them. This is perfect. I was worried that it’d be too hard to set up, because I vaguely remember never being able to figure these out when I babysat. But it only took a few minutes. I agree with other people that it’d be a good idea to mark the correct notch (my door was 30 inches). Careful not to force the wood lever thing or it’ll snap (this didn’t happen to me, I could just see how it could happen). This was up in a few minutes and was very sturdy.The dogs are both labs, so I was afraid they’d simply jump over it, but they didn’t! I just put one in the other room (with a clear sight-line to us), calmly locked the gate into place, said “stay here,” and walked away. The foster dog didn’t move at all.I will say that if you plan to have to cross this a lot, then I’d probably spring for the bolt-in ones that are a bit more permanent. This one would get annoying to step over all the time and/or to dismantle a lot. But if you’re looking to use it sporadically or in an out-of-the-way room, I recommend this one! And you can’t beat the price.

Inexpensive & easy to use
The Good: 1) Gate is mostly intuitive to use with easy instructions on the side of the box it came in. 2) Strong enough that my 8 month old baby can put his weight on it while he is pulling himself up. 3) The most inexpensive Amazon Prime eligible gate available at the date of purchase ($17.00).The Bad: 1) Adjustable width of gate is made in 1 inch intervals, while some doorways (one of ours) is 36.5 inches & we have to set the setting to 37 inches to keep it tight against the walls, but this makes the wood keeping the gate together bow/bend with the worry it might break given the right pressure. 2) No “door” for adults to open & close to walk-through, so you must awkwardly lift your leg over the gate to get through.The Bottom Line: This gate is dead simple, easy to use, inexpensive and effective. However, it is an entry level gate with no bells and whistles. This is perfect for the cost conscious parent that simply needs to block entry to certain rooms for their baby/toddler (like us).

Need to take apart and reassemble before use
Whoever thought it would be a good idea to staple a plastic bag into the middle of the gate and then run the bag underneath the fencing material clearly was only thinking of the company and not the user.You have to disassemble the entire gate and remove tiny staples in order to use this. The mounting brackets are in a plastic bag which is stapled to the wood, ok, not so bad. But no… they staple it to the wood BEFORE they put on the plastic fencing material in the middle. Meaning they then put the fencing material over the bag, so you need to take everything apart to remove the bag.Problem with all this, it’s cheap, which I knew when buying. But reassembling cheap wood and plastic is a challenge at best.I ended up throwing my in the garbage an hour after opening. Wish I took before/after photos.I would avoid this gate at all costs.

The price was right and I used a similar one at an Airbnb with good success.It is easy to set up and I’m able to use it for both doorways AND to block off a section of my home I don’t want the toddler roaming into.It is stable, portable, and easy to move where I need it to.Alternatively, now my toddler has a new fun activity of throwing his toys over the gate.

Nice gate, horrible packaging
Simple gate, looks nice and will serve its purpose as a block between rooms.However, be ready to fight with the plastic pouch containing wall cups. It is literally built into the wooded frame. I don’t know why they would put plastic in an area that a parent has to spend a lot of time to remove as it is located where a child can touch it. I needed to use a box cutter to get all plastic off. I won’t order another one.

Light, sturdy gate
Really like this gate – it’s very light but seems sturdy so far. Would buy again! I am only leaning it against stairs but all parts came to connect it to the walls.

This is our third baby gate we have purchased. One for each entryway to prevent our toddler from entering certain spaces. It works great and stays firmly in place. It’s a classic baby gate at a good price. It is a bit hard to click and unclick back into place but we leave ours up and don’t ever move it. We just climb over it every time. I wouldn’t recommend if you were going to be moving the gate multiple times a day as it is difficult to maneuver back in.

Realmente este producto con mi perro que es de talla chica. Es muy firme y bastante facil de usar. No necesita instalaciones solo se coloca bajo presion entre paredes. Es una excelente compra del cual no me arrepiento. Ya tengo cerca de 6 meses con el producto y sin fallas.

La puerta cumple con el propósito y está bien construida, sin embargo la calidad de los acabados deja que desear. La madera no está cortada o lijada a la perfección, lo que deja espacios visibles entre las uniones y una textura gruesa; nada grave, pero podría ser mejor elaborado y terminado.El funcionamiento es un poco complicado para abrir y cerrar, comparado con otros sistemas disponibles en el mercado. Es una buena compra considerando el costo beneficio. Llegó a tiempo, en buenas condiciones y con buenas instrucciones.
