Gel (Not Gel Beads) Makes a Huge Difference – Colder and Longer-Lasting
I’ve used another brand of reusable perineal ice packs before that looked almost identical to these, except they were filled with gel beads instead of solid gel. That small difference has made a huge impact.With the gel bead version, over time the beads started to feel dry inside and even developed air pockets. They didn’t stay evenly cold and just didn’t hold up well long term.These, on the other hand, use a continuous gel, and it makes all the difference. They feel noticeably colder, stay flexible when frozen, and have held up really well with repeated use.I’ve used these during pregnancy for swelling and varicose vein discomfort, and they’ve been incredibly helpful. They’re also wonderful for postpartum recovery and soothing.Overall, this version feels more durable and effective than the gel bead style, especially considering the price point. I’m really happy I made the switch.

Great option
I bought these for my girlfriend to use after having our son, however she ended up needing a c section but we’ve used these ice packs for multiple other needs. They don’t stay cold for more than probably 30 minutes, but she loves them for the occasional headache. She says they work great at relieving the pain and are the perfect shape for putting on her head or her incision after the c section.

I love these! The cooling effect lasts much longer than other cooling disposable pads and it only takes 30-60mins to get cold! Perfect for postpartum and episiotomy recovery.

Easy to freeze and use. Light weight and not bulky. Cover is easy to remove and put on – easy to wash. Nice quality for cost.Only down side is I wish they would stay frozen longer.

I liked them but only didn’t love them bc they didn’t stay very cold long enough. They’re comfortable & I liked that I could reuse them but found myself switching out more than I wanted to. Maybe I’m just that hot? 😆. They may be useful for other issues that don’t require long exposure. I liked them but wouldn’t need to buy again.

MUST BUY for anyone in postpartum especially after a VBAC. The hospital gives you their own but this you can use long term when they run out. The sleeve is washable and soft.

Got these for my postpartum recovery.Haven’t used but they feel durable and also comfortable.They are a good length and also size, the sleeves are a very soft and comfortable material i think they are perfect.

This was a life saver after having my baby! Provided immediate relief on my stitches and constantly had in rotation for comfort! Only thing is there was not enough covers… ended up covering the pads in paper towel so I didn’t have to do copious amounts of laundry!Would have been nice to provide a bag or something to freeze them in the freezer for sanitary purposes – I use kept them in a ziploc bag!Overall 100% need this if you are having a baby

Points mitigés.Je suis soulagée, qu’une fois les perles congelées, dans mon congélateur en dessous de mon frigo, elles sont encore flexibles car j’avais peur que le produit soit trop rigide pour mettre entre les fesses.La longueur est presque bonne pour atteindre à la fois les lèvres génitales en avant et les régions des fesses, mais encore trop courte.La largeur est presque parfaite mais cela n’épouse pas la courbe dans cette région pelvienne.Le sac en tissu est trop mince pour atténuer le coupant du contour du sac en plastique qui contient les perles.On peut utiliser ce produit une fois accouchée et qu’on le retient avec sa main: comme elle n’est pas faite pour épouser les courbes de cette région pelvienne, on peut l’utiliser seulement en la tenant dans la main pour lui mettre un peu de pression afin que le froid atteint la peau de cette région pelvienne.
