Fantastic series
Using this text in a course for pre-service teachers, I like it so much. This text incorporates the analysis of interviews and actual classroom vignettes to push forward constructive teaching practices. The working of the Principles to Action from NCTM throughout the text gives the book a stronger foundation towards great teaching. This book is the high school version, but they have versions for the elementary, and middle school. This book is a must have for great teaching practices.

Must Have for 9-12 Math Teachers!
Where to start. This book, published by NCTM explicitly states how to implement the 8 Mathematics Teaching Practices, as well as provides examples and opportunities to reflect on models in other classroom. As a math coach, I’m using it as a resource as I support teachers as they reflect on their own daily practices.
