Great for bruised ribs.
The binder was wonderful for my husband. Fit for a larger man which is what we were looking for. The double wrap was great to keep it in place. Comfortable fit, breathable material, well designed and made. He would recommend this product if you need it for bruised ribs, which he had. He is still using it strengthen his core muscles, and help with his posture.

I usually wait a few weeks or so to write reviews but, This thing made such a difference in my comfort level so quickly I have r=to rave now. I underwent double inguinal surgey about a week and a half ago. I was recommended to get a “hernia Band” from the surgeon’s assistant last week when I was getting ready to return to work, which I did today. I wore it all day and am amazed at how much better I felt, overall, even while working. It tightens up really nice to hold everything in place and because it is so wide it really doesn’t put any strain on any one place or area. It is comfortable, stays in place and protected my incision areas and allowed me to wear a belt without having to worry about irritation on my healing incisions. it also has bracing in the back to keep me from bending over too sharply. I was a bit skeptical but not now. HIGHLY recommend this for anyone looking to relieve the pressure from hernia surgery. Hell, I wish I had it before while I was waiting for the surgery to happen.

Light to medium support
This back brace goes on easily and works well. The design gives 2 levels to cinch in and help stabilize. It is a medium strength compression. It doesnt have as much boning down the back and sides so it is more comfortable than some.i have tried. . I feel like the elastic is smooth and not itchy. I wear it directly against my skin. I like that the hook and loop closure is very tight and secure. This brace will not slip. I got it for my back as well as to help with diastasis of recti, which is an abdominal muscle issue. I’d recommend this item.

Great for post surgery
I bought this binder to have after my total hysterectomy, and I’m so glad I did. This binder is so comfortable and flexible, that it provides the support that I need without feeling too restricting. This binder feels very high quality and is a great value for the price. The material is not too thick or thin. I definitely recommend this binder after any type of abdominal surgery, and I truly believe it helped lessen the pain I had while healing.Edit: I also wanted to add that my binder in size medium is 9 inches wide (from top to bottom). I wasn’t able to find that info on the product page anywhere, so hopefully this is helpful for anyone else searching.

Excellent support, stayed in place, was a huge help after appendectomy. Excellent quality, Compression was easily adjusted for comfort support. Mobility was decent and easy to use.

A Supportive Essential during Recovery
I recently had a complicated ventral hernia surgery and diastases repair. I woke up in a binder post surgery and it helped greatly. After about 4 weeks the hospital binder Velcro would no longer stay together and would fall right off with even the basic of movements. So I searched for a new binder that would hold up better and something I could wear through my increased activity as I healed up. I ordered this Mamody binder primarily since I liked the idea of it having two sections to secure for reliable support. I was concerned at first that with two layers it might bunch or be uncomfortable but I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I received it I put it on and enjoyed the instant support it provided. I liked how it had sufficient length of Velcro in order to adjust how much compression I needed based on how my abdomen was feeling and to help relieve my pain levels. I find it supportive without being too stiff or restrictive even with two layers. I wear it over my shirt with no problems. I do think that this material might be too itchy to be directly on skin but I also have sensitive skin so I’m sure that depends on preference and comfort. It is durable enough to last a good long while as I recover from my surgery. I look forward to when I am fully healed up and will no longer need a binder but until then this Mamody binder is a daily essential in my recovery.

Poor stitching on one of several purchased
Superb abdominal support and great fit Easy adjustableI have purchased several and one has failed ..the stitching pulled loose and a Velcro is now so floppy it is no longer useable One day after the return date passedI would hope the seller would give me a replacement 02-17-26

This abdominal binder works great to help regulate my blood pressure. It is firm but comfortable. The double binder is sturdy and easy to use. I highly recommend this product!

I’m giving 4 stars as it’s not as wide as advertised . I ordered the M and it’s only 9” wide. The Velcro seems to be of good strength and the design is some what supportive.
