Non-greasy and less dry skin in 24 hours
I am really picky about the lotions I use and how they feel putting them on. My favorite lotion has been Gold Bond Restoring or Pure Moisture and this has now taken the place of my favorite lotion. The lotion is not oily or greasy or feel low quality. It feels like it does enter your skin instead of staying on the surface. I have really dry skin on my legs and after using this for one night my skin did not need reapplication for a couple of days. There is no smell which is fine with me. I can’t speak much on the firming aspect but my skin definitely looks improved after using.

I’ve waited a while to write this review because at the time I began using this Advanced Clinical’s lotion I had also started a new vitamin supplement. I wasn’t sure which one was responsible for incredible reaction with my skin. Well, after testing by stopping both products and then restarting with just this retinol lotion, I’m happy to report it was the lotion that gave the fantastic results!Okay, now what were the results you ask? I’m a 55 year old female in good health, but the slow decline of my skin health (bumps, crepe, etc.) has been really depressing. Almost immediately, I’d say within the first 3 or 4 days, I happened to rub the back of my upper arm and found something I hadn’t felt since probably my early 30’s…smooth, bump-free skin!!! I was shocked and I couldn’t stop touching it because it had been years since I remembered the feel of youthful skin!I’d asked my dermatologist years earlier when the bumpiness began what was it? She explained that as we age our skin loses it’s ability to slough-off the old layers as it once did. I tried exfoliating regularly, but the bumps never seemed to fully smooth out, always leaving a bit of a gritty or sandy feel to my skin. I’d resigned myself that I would never again have the baby-smooth skin of my youth…until now! Smooth skin on my arms and thighs, and no more creasing and wrinkling of my decolletage, makes me feel wonderful instead of self-conscious about aging!You will be impressed!!! I use it all over, and why not when you get a huge tub of product for such a reasonable price (two 16oz tubs for $17)!!! I just finished watching the infomercial of Jane Seymour for Crepe Erase, then I went to Amazon to check it’s reviews. Wow, at around $90 for 12 oz, it was too expensive and the reviews were not good. That was when I recalled that I hadn’t written my review on Advanced Clinical’s Retinol lotion!It is hard to find a product that lives up to the hype, but this retinol lotion is truly amazing! I had to share my experience in hopes that someone out there will also discover that there are good products that actually do what they advertise WITHOUT raiding your wallet! My only concern is that I hope they never change the formula. Too many times you get something good in it’s original formula and then it changes. Please, Advanced Clinical, NEVER change your formula!They say you never miss what you had until it is gone, well, I absolutely love being able to touch skin that feels smooth and young once more…oh, how I happy I am that it wasn’t gone for good!

Good for dry skin
I find this lotion really helps with dry skin. I live in a dry climate and this is effective. I combine it with the hyaluronic acid from Advanced Clinicals. I do not notice much of a fragrance. I do wish the lotion was “cleaner” with fewer chemicals added. Then it would be perfect!

I love Advanced Clinical Products! I had been using a retinol serum for my face that was 2.5 % for quite some time. They lowered the amount of retinol in the brand I was using ( and it was not an advanced clinical brand) and I have been searching for quite a while for a new one. (can any one recommend one that is good and does cost too much that is a serum and not a lotion?) So anyway I was very happy with the results I was getting on my face and thought it would be good for my legs and arms etc too. So obviously the 2.5 % would cost a fortune to get legs and arms and what not. Then I came across this and was very happy it was an advanced clinical product. The reason I was happy was because of the size and I have used their products long enough to know it is the real deal. And yes I know there is low amounts of retinol in it probably but some is better than none! I use this with Advanced Clinical collagen the same size on all my skin and my skin loves me for it. It is now so smooth and soft. I have been doing this for months now and it has payed off! I hope they do not go up on their prices because it is very well priced now! Also for what it is worth I mix this every other night with my 5% minoxidil serum to put it around my hairline. I had read the combination of retinol and monoxidil was producing off the chart unexpected results so I tried it. I don’t have near as much of my hair falling out anymore and me and this product are best friends for life. Mine ran out and I saved my old top just in case. Sure enough I got my order in for a replacement and could not get the top to come up no matter how much I turned it! The next morning my curiosity got the best of me and I got 2 pair of pliers and was finally able to get the top up. What appears to be happening is the way it is shipped the cream is drying around the round seal like a very strong glue! So Keep your old top before throwing it away awaiting on your replacement! the reason I give it 3 stars is that it’s not as thick as I would like it to be,, if you stir it up before use then it gets a little thicker, Overall, I like it, wish it had SPF in it. You get a big alot for your money.

It’s a thick cream, moisturising, but this is all. After daily use and finishing the entire jar, no effects at all on the cellulite appearance.
