I bought Equate Scar Gel specifically for my post-surgical hernia repair scar, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. Worked fast and well
After reading about scar treatments, i didnt have my hopes up that anything would work.When i was in my 20s i gained nearly 50lbs in 3 months. This was hard on my body and left tons of stretch marks, mostly on my thighs. Due to the location of the dark stretch marks, i wont post photos(i may crop some of my before/after on other areas later since i didnt start on all of them at the same time).I used this with a silicone stick once it dried, then topped with vitamin e oil(15,000iu 2.2oz). I was not expecting the scars to noticably lighten within days as its supposed to take weeks for full effectiveness. But due to the results of my test, i am now using this across all stretch marks to lighten them too.It absorbs quickly, stays on all day(at least topped with a thicker silicone stick and vitamin e), and has no noticably scent. My skin is very sensitive, yet I tolerated this in areas with more sensitive skin with no redness, pain or itching. Despite being effective, i didn’t even notice it was on my skin all day and night.I will definitely continue using this. I tested this, mederma, and a silicone stick in 3 different areas. The mederma had no noticeable effects within a week. Both this and the silicone stick had noticeable lightening alone, but this and the stick combined it was nearly miraculous honestly.

Great skin product at even greater affordability
I’ve sampled several different scar, wrinkle creams, ointments and oils and this is by far the most effective. It’s a substantive enough gel to spread easily without the thickness or stickiness which tends to take a long time to absorb. MItgary Advanced Scar Silicone Gel spreads quickly and evenly and causes no skin irritation. It’s a quality product at an affordable price and its great value for my money. Its results are visible with consistent use and also allows me to put makeup on with affecting its texture or appearance. The gel is light, free of scent or perfume and a little bit goes a long way. I happily recommend it highly.

Great to start with
Just started using this product after my orthopedic doctor confirmed that I’m allowed to apply scar gel now that all the sterile strips have come off naturally. I like the texture of this scar gel — it’s smooth, silky, and medium‑viscosity. The gel spreads easily and absorbs quickly into the skin. The ingredients support skin‑barrier repair (water, glycerin, trehalose, panthenol, allantoin, and vitamin E) as well as skin‑texture improvement and collagen remodeling (retinol). I’m looking forward to seeing a smoother skin texture over months and gradualfading of pigmentation.
