Great quality and very sturdy! The Baby Trend Hybrid 3-in-1 Booster Seat was easy to install and feels safe and secure. My child seems very comfortable on long rides, and the seat padding provides great support. I also love that it grows with the child definitely a great value for the price. Highly recommend for parents looking for safety and comfort in one seat!

Great product, at a great price!
Nice simple carseat!First & foremost, I wanted a plain carseat that didn’t cost a fortune, and this fit the bill.It has options for both traditional buckles & the LATCH system. We’ve only used it with buckles, but it comes with clear diagrams for both. The buckle can be slightly annoying to get through the back, since the buckle openings in the plastic aren’t really big enough for a hand, but it’s easy to pop one corner of the cover off for access, then back on.There are a few things that could be smoother (of course, in the lowest-priced one to be found), but nothing unworkable, and really, not even enough to dock stars. The LATCH straps get in the way a bit when moving the seat between vehicles, but not bad, and I believe they’re removeable. (the seat is out in the car, so I can’t check – obviously it hasn’t bothered us enough to even check) The lower (3-way) connection on the 5-point harness is VERY stiff, & has to be wiggled just right, while pushing the stiff button, to come loose, but that could be more a benefit than anything, because no young child will be unbuckling while driving. The padding is fairly thin for long road trips, but I just folded up a thick piece of fabric smoothly under the seat, and the little one has seemed fine since.On the positive side, It is straightforward to use, without a bunch of unnecessary stuff. It is easy & simple to adjust. The armrests are the right size to be useful without getting in the way. And I LOVE the cup holders!! Again, they don’t get in the way, or stick out enough to risk breaking, but they’re always right there when needed – which is all the time! There’s plenty of room between them for a child’s legs, and the padding just covers the inside edge so it doesn’t dig in if they spread their legs apart, but they still don’t stick outside the general carseat profile.Overall, I have been very happy with this carseat at this price, and am grateful to Baby Trend for (again!) providing a lower-cost, plain, simple alternative to budget-gouging necessities.

Complicated to understand how to install it with a seat belt
I love the look and that it can be a harness booster given that my 5 year old is only 31 lbs. Most convertible car seats, like the one we have, are so bulky and won’t allow to switch it only a child weighs 40-45 lbs. I want her safe but also, I don’t want her to be in a baby car seat until 3rd grade lol.Now, the installation… well.. the car seat we’re leaving behind is an Evenflo easy click latch system. With all the technology in the world, you’d think that other car seats manufacturers would have also figured out latches easy to install. I’m a solo mom and I’ve never been strong enough to safely fasten a seat using old fashion latches. I didn’t do any better with this one.I had to install it with the seat belt (I’m using the harness system). Well, the instructions to explain where to route the seat belt, and the pictures were just awful.Wish they would just put a QR code with a link to a video to show us how to install it. The only video I was able to find to show me how to do it, was from a regular parent who published a video on YouTube. Once you see it, it’s a breeze to install.On the positive, the colors and design are great, I like that it’s not bulky, super easy for my child to get in and out. Hopefully it’ll be easy to clean as fabric can’t be removed. It seems good quality. My daughter told me it wasn’t very comfortable and wanted to go back to her previous seat.
