Works great for postpartum!
Used this to make my padsicles for postpartum and I loved it. I only used one pouch and still have a the rest remaining but I’m sure I’ll be able to give them away. They smell really good and worked very well for me. If you want to know how I made my padsicles I basically steeped one of the pouches with some boiling water (I didn’t measure but it might have been about two cups or possibly whatever the label instructs). As those steeped I opened up all my pads and gathered a bowl big enough to hold them. When the tea was ready I poured it over each pad making sure they were evenly saturated. I laid each in the bowl (crisscross over each) so they would conform to the bowl. To use, I would remove a frozen pad, sit it out while I quickly showered (so it wasn’t so stiff), then placed it in my diaper/underwear and wear for 20 mins then discard.

Extremely relaxing & healing!
The soak is extremely relaxing and helps with healing! The pre-filled packets make it very easy to use.Not only did the soak help with healing but the smell of the blend of antibacterial and healing herbs was relaxing as well. The product has worked so well that we have gifted it to numerous friends!

More work than I anticipated
I didn’t realize when I bought it that it requires boiling the packet over the the stove for 10 min. And then it recommends using a shallow bidet bowl instead of a bathtub so you don’t over-dilute it. In the postpartum, I prefer something much more convenient. You only have so much time before the baby wakes up to feed again, so you don’t want to use up precious minutes to prepare for a sitz bath (especially if yuppie taking multiple baths per day).I’d recommend something you can toss into the tub as is. Making “tea for your bottom” is far too labor intensive for the postpartum mother.
