Comparison of Elder Incontenence Products.
Use: elder care. I’m reviewing three incontinence products, for comparison.Depend Night Defense has been excellent in terms of fit, absorption (quantity and quality), and preventing leakage, even overnight. I bought the medium (per the chart) and it fits great; plenty of stretch. The absorption easily handled two ‘wee’s and/or one wee and a poo (I’m being delicate here, play along please!) with NO leakage! There is no smell to the product, so it is discreet. I have not noticed any skin irritation. Five stars, no complaints.Always Discreet Boutique is excellent in terms of absorption and preventing leakage (daytime use). However, I would recommend sizing up, as the Medium is smaller than the Depend Medium, above. They easily handle either one ‘wee’ and/or ‘poo’ with no leakage. They do have a “feminine product” scent, though it is not overpowering. For a couple hours, you will catch whiffs of this distinctive scent. No skin irritation that I’ve noticed. Four stars (would be five stars, but for the fit).Tena Stylish “Super Plus Heavy” was a disappointment in comparison. I bought Large instead of Medium, as recommended by many reviewers. The width/waist was good, but they fit more like hipsters than briefs. The back coverage was insufficient, and they leaked through to the seat of the pants, even though I did not use it for bedtime/laying prone. Since I had to change them out about two hours after putting them on, I can’t speak to skin irritation. They do not have any scent. Two stars.

Did the job and are comfy!
I usually get the Always brand in the same size (L) but tried these out this time. They’re more comfortable than the Always brand bc they aren’t tight around my thighs and hips. Because I’m not constantly pulling or adjusting, they’re more durable, in my opinion.I’m using them along with my June cup for added protection and they seem pretty absorbent when necessary. I thought the light color would be weird, but all is well so far. I’ll definitely keep these in my monthly arsenal!(For reference, I usually wear a size 14-16 in pants)

Not leak free for periods
My wife wanted to try these and she wore these on her periods at night for two days.They leaked both nights, so she is switching back to the brand she was getting before, Liv Dry, because they never leak.

It’s a terrible product which only lasts a day if that! The crotch is fine but the panty part shreds after just a few uses of going to the bathroom 🚽! It literally falls apart so don’t waste your money! Don’t buy! So disappointed ☹️! I’m glad it’s not the first Depend product that I have used otherwise I would never buy Depend products at all! Regular Depends are ok!
