To empty your Dekor Diaper Pail, open the service door and pull out the continuous refill liner just far enough to remove the contents.
Cut
Use the child-safe cutter conveniently mounted on the door to cut the continuous refill liner.
Tip: Allow room to tie a knot before disposing.
Tie
Tie a new knot in the bottom of the continuous refill liner to form a new ‘bag’. Close the service door, and you are done!

Better than all the diaper genies I’ve used
I’m so glad I got this thing. I was a bit suspicious of how low the price was on this, but I went ahead and this has been great to have.I’ve been dealing with dirty diapers for 3 years. I’ve burned through 3 official “diaper genie” brand diaper genies in that time. The regular diaper genie is great for keeping the smell out when throwing away another diaper, but they’ve got too many moving parts that depend on small plastic pegs and posts, and eventually they jam too hard, wear out, get loose, and break. They’re awkward to empty, change, and refill, and again, they jam CONSTANTLY.This thing is a little smaller, sure, but it is so much SIMPLER. It’s just an outer lid with a trapdoor beneath, and a simple little cabinet door for emptying the bag. It has huge advantages over regular diaper genie models.-simpler design w less moving parts-more reliable operation-easier to empty-doesn’t jam (meaning less need to shove your hand in to clear it)-wider bag gives more storage than you’d expectThe only disadvantage this has is that, when sticking in a new diaper, you will have the container open for a split second and may catch a tiny whiff of the bag. That’s gone in a second, and when it’s closed it doesn’t let any smells out. This thing has really simplified my life and I wish I’d gotten one of these first.

This works & works well!
We have been using this pail for a few weeks now. I was one of those people that thought that we’d never need a separate diaper pail, we’d be fine with a regular ole garbage can. We were fine until my little guy started eating solids LOL I didn’t want something that had a lot of little parts or that was automatic-something simple but effective. This is it. It traps the smell, it’s sturdy, it opens easily with the foot pedal and it’s easy to change the trash bags out each trash day! You did get a little whiff of poo diaper when you put a new one inside, but it fades quickly and for the price is definitely worth it!We also have a very small space, and this is a great fit—holds a good amount but isn’t bulky or in the way.

This diaper pail is a game-changer for parents looking for a convenient and odor-controlling diaper disposal system. Great diaper pail
I like these most. Dekor has worked very well for me smell-wise. I get the small one because I think a bigger one, housing more dirty diapers would end up smelling more. But that will holds mad diapers. Get nearly 40 size 6 diapers in the smaller model.We’ve broken one of our door hinge/nubs so I’ve duct taped the side door and our lock has brown because our boy cranked on the dial,So my wife thinks it has absorbed a bad smell but I don’t agree and we keep it clean and our room doesn’t smell I swear.I’ll use both of them now, I ordered the 2nd for a second kid and different sized diaper rates etc but I have 4 stars because the door nub broke on the first one and the second one came with this uncleanable brand name on top so that’s annoying knowing I’ll have it at least a couple years but it’s smudged somehow off rip.Have fun with your kids be good parents

Great Pail – Doesn’t Smell
So far we really like this pail. It’s a great size and I only empty it about every 3 days for my new born in size 1 diapers. It doesn’t smell at all and is super easy to empty. I like the foot pedal that opens the top for ease. I’ll most likely buy another for the nursery.

It doesn’t capture odor as they claim and I was fooled by other reviews so I had to speak , bottom line it arrived with broken hinge and it makes diapers smells even worse , I use it now for used coffee ground only.
