Tier 1 Diaper Pail (best in class)
These things are probably the best diaper pails on the market. I tried the offerings of several competitors but they were used diapers by comparison. The Diaper Genie is mostly made out of steel. The variant I bought is white in color and has a uniform solid coat of paint. It’s durable and has withstood a few knock overs with no damage. It’s not particularly expensive when you consider that I’ve tried several others and was unhappy. I wish I’d just bought this one the first time.Changing out diaper bags is easy, just press the pedal, fold the plastic bag off of the lip, lift out the bag, tie the top into a knot and tear the bag loose on the bottom. Voila, no drama. Diaper smell is mostly contained in the pail, and the design keeps the used diapers down in the sack. Realistically, the only time it smells raunchy is when it gets overstuffed so just remember to change it every few days. The bag is fairly tough and you can put a lot of diapers in it, but everything has its limits so be smart about it.The diaper bag roll sits in the bottom and is easily changed out. It’s no big deal. I’ve been very happy with mine, and I’m sure I’ll be using it on kid #2. It’s saved me from a diaper mess more than a few times. I hope this review helps you form an idea of its value. The Diaper Genie is definitely a high quality product!
I love my diaper Genie! I have to wear adult diapers because of a birth defect that affects my bladder so I have had to wear Diapers all my life. And a bunch of wet diapers in a trash can can get really nasty smelling real fast and that’s why I bought my diaper genie and it works great and I love the fact that it has the filters to keep it from smelling bad!!Would I recommend this yes definitely weather you your self have to wear diapers because of a bladder problem or you have children that are still in diapers I would highly recommend this product!!!

I bought this for my grandchildren when they come to my house as we had this 25 years ago when I had kids and it was great quality then. Still good quality now. My daughter said mine is better at keeping smells out than hers, which is another brand. So she ended up buying this one.

I love Diaper genie , this was very helpful for our baby , gone are the days of stinky diapers , this is like a diaper pail and mask out the odors.There 2 issues we faced with when we use this product, the lid tab can’t close fully like when we first brought it and second , it hard to put a new canister of bags wish it was easier pop the trash bag in and go instead one of us us to cut the bag with scissors and tie it as a knot for garbagePlease take my review into considerationThank you

I highly recommend this diaper genie. It is much better than the plastic type. Although it is more expensive it had two packs of bags included. The refills themselves are expensive and would bring the price up for a plastic. It is very pleasing to the eye also.5/5.

If you have cats or litter trained dogs like i do, skip the litter genie and litter locker and get this. its foolproof bc it auto closes, the others u have to slide a piece back to cinch the bag so the locker/genie always smells. this does the work for you if u live w someone forgetful who doesnt close it properly. i shoulda just got this one first. i will be getting another for outside as well just because id rather it than a smelly garbage can full of picked up doo

The hinge attaching the lid to the base is very fragile, made of brittle plastic. After just 2 months of regular use, the hinge broke. For the cost of this item, I expected more. In terms of keeping odor down, it definitely works. But having to tape the lid on is hugely disappointing.
