All the features I wanted in a bassinet
This bassinet is everything we were looking for after having our first child. We used another even more expensive bassinet before, but we didn’t end up using it much or liking it. We had looked at the original Halo bassinets, but we didn’t like the flexible top support as we felt it was too flimsy and we were worried about accidentally letting the side down while sleeping. We did realizewe needed some sort of zip down side after using our first bassinet though because it was too hard to take the baby out of the bassinet for feeding in the middle of the night. This new Halo bassinet was perfect because it was compact, nice and sturdy, and had the zip down side. It also has 5 height settings and the legs are out of the way and not a tripping hazard. Assembly was pretty simple. Overall, I think it’s competitively priced versus other premium bassinets and well designed.

Big and nice height
We had another brand of bassinet for our first baby but wanted to find something this time around that was both taller and bigger. My husband and I are both on the taller side and wanted to make sure we weren’t having to bend super far to pick up baby. We also wanted to make sure baby wouldn’t outgrow the bassinet before we were ready to move her out of our room. This has been perfect so far! It’s a reasonable right for me at 5 ft 8 inches and for my husband at 6 ft 4 inches. The quality is good and the bassinet feels sturdy so I feel confident my baby is safe in it. We haven’t really moved it around so I can’t speak to how well the wheels work. The size seems generous compared to the bassinet we had before, so even though our girl is 95th percentile for length, I feel like she will be able to use this for quite a while. We would recommend this bassinet to any new parents!

Happy mom happy baby
Bassinets take up a lot of space, but the Halo BassiNest does a great job of providing a safe and spacious sleep space for your baby while maintaining a non-bulky profile. I love the modern design of the bassinet, and how simple it was to assemble. It took a little time, but wasn’t hard in any way.The legs do have little wheels, but I find that they don’t work great on my carpeting. It’s not the easiest to push back and forth from my bedside. I also wish it came with a spare sheet.. it only comes with one!My 7 week old is sleeping great in it and overall I’m happy with my selection

I would pass on this. Poor quality for price tag.
The middle metal support is wobbly causing the bassinet to be unstable. Not sure if I feel comfortable putting my newborn in this. Disappointed in the quality considering the price tag. I put it all together and have to take it apart and return it. Very annoyed. I gave a gentleman’s two star rating because it looks nice? But I’m not sure if commenting on the aesthetics of a parachute is an appropriate review given the whole purpose of a parachute is not for it to look pretty but to be safe.

Really sturdy and well made bedside bassinet
This was the perfect bassinet to place bedside for our newborn! Our baby loves to sleep right next to us we realized and this bassinet makes it really easy and gives us confidence that the baby is safe. The bassinet is really sturdy and well built. It feels solid, it is really easy to adjust, it has 5 adjustable levels and was easy to get the perfect height to match our bed. The bassinet has a nice cushion and is firm which is essential.The bassinet is easy to move around but is solid in place. It is stable and doesn’t rock or wobble which is great. Love the minimalist look of the bassinet, fits our bedroom perfectly. This is a great bassinet from a good brand, at a good price too, I highly recommend it.

Fantastic bedside sleeper
The HALO BassiNest has been an absolute lifesaver for safe co sleeping and getting rest during the newborn phase. Having my baby right at bedside level made nighttime feedings so much easier and allowed me to soothe her without fully getting up. The 360 degree swivel and lowering side wall are ingenious features that provided effortless access. The vibration and soothing sounds were helpful for calming her during fussy periods. It felt incredibly secure and stable, giving me complete peace of mind. It’s super easy to adjust and it’s the perfect size for our daughter. The mesh sides provided excellent breathability and visibility. It was straightforward to assemble and easy to keep clean. This product was worth every penny for the sleep and security it provided our family.
