Perfect for Our Disney Vacation Planning and Memories!
I purchased this Happy Planner Disney Mickey journal specifically to plan our family Disney trip, and it exceeded all my expectations! This journal became an essential part of our entire vacation experience from start to finish.Planning Phase: The 80 dot-grid pages gave me plenty of space to organize our itinerary, research restaurants, map out FastPass strategies, and create daily schedules for the family. The dots made it easy to create neat lists and tables without feeling too structured.Budget Tracking: One of my favorite uses was keeping our vacation budget organized. I dedicated several pages to tracking expenses, and the layout made it simple to see where our money was going throughout the trip.Memory Keeping: This is where the journal really shined! I brought it with us to the parks and used it as a combination scrapbook and diary. The pages were perfect for taping in our park tickets, PhotoPass cards, receipts from special meals, and printed photos. The dot-grid gave me flexibility to arrange everything creatively without rigid lines getting in the way.Quality & Features: The vegan leather cover held up beautifully despite being tossed in park bags daily. The pen holder was honestly a fantastic addition – I always had a pen ready to jot down notes or get character autographs.The elastic closure kept everything secure, and the ribbon bookmark helped me quickly find my current page.Overall: This journal helped us stay organized before the trip and became a cherished keepsake afterward. I love the neutral color with the Mickey pattern, I think it’s super cute while being subtle enough to use again. This would also make a fantastic gift. Very nice journal for MM fans
This is a very cute journal, but best of all it is very low-key fandom style. It has a classy and beautiful look to it that blends in anywhere. I got the ivory one with little silhouettes. It’s really more beige, and the finish is a lovely high-quality one that almost shimmers. The journal really does well at staying closed. A lot in this style tend to pop open, but this has a good weight to it that lets it stay shut. There’s a pen loop that you can use if you need to. The pages are interesting to use. It escaped me that this was a dot grid style journal, which I’ve never used before, so what a great opportunity to try! It worked out really well. I found it was actually easier to write and do little decorations with the dots – I suppose that’s why so many video tutorials use them. The size of this journal is very good for travel, I think it packs in a purse or tote really well, and the A5 size paper works great for most needs. It’s also lightweight. It feels like a very good quality journal, especially for any Dosney fan. It’s a little pricey, but not entirely out of the budget at $25 at time of writing. At this price point, I’d only get one for a special occasion like a vacation or wedding, or to use as a gift.

Happy Planner Disney Mickey Dot-Grid Journal
I am really happy with this journal so far. First impressions were how much nicer this looks in person than it does on the listing photo. The listing photo looks like a drab taupe, but in real life there is a soft gloss to the finish that makes it appear more like a champagne (but not shimmer) that I like so much better than what I was expecting. The embossing is uniform and is actually quite an enjoyable tactile experience. I am not sure if the placement is the same on every journal, but there are 4 Mickey heads perfectly aligned on the spine, which is a REALLY nice touch, in my opinion. The back cover includes a pen loop (no pen included) that should fit most standard cap and click style ink pens. The first page has a ‘this belongs to’ page following by a plethora of thick, dotted paper. In my experience, journals generally don’t have the thickest paper and while this isn’t the THICKEST, it’s thicker than most journals I’ve owned in my lift. With bullet journaling being so popular these days, I’m happy to finally join the fold. It won’t be for journaling about a trip at Disney or even planning one, though you could absolutely use it for that, but I do LOVE Disney and I think any Disneyphile would be thrilled with this notebook. Each page has a more traditional Mickey head in the bottom corner, whilst the general copyright information is included, but not in an overly distracting way. This journal looks and feels high quality and I look forward to using it for various lists of tasks I wish to accomplish in the new year to tick off as I do them as well as typical things I keep track of (like my book reading) throughout the year. At 6″ x 8.5″, this is a great purse size, or in my case…something I can toss in my glove box and use while waiting for my kids at school pickup when I have a lot of extra time on my hands. Great value, would definitely order again.

Wonderful size journal, great for notetaking
This is a great journal – the A5 size means it’s a little smaller than a piece of letter paper folded in half, which makes it very portable. It will easily fit in a backpack or purse. It has 80 pages, which is plenty of space for jotting down notes, for short lists, or even longer writing sessions.There’s a pen loop to hold a writing utensil, so you can always be at the ready to take something down, and the included bookmark allows you to pick up right where you left off. The gridded pages, while a little different, provide a lot more flexibility in terms of how you’d like to write – big or small, cursive or printed, they’ll fit on these pages.The leather cover provides a little extra grip, and will hold up much better than a cardboard one would. All of the color choices look lovely – the ivory case is very simply done, but still has a touch of elegance. If you were getting this as a gift for someone, they would be very impressed. That said, the cost of this does make it a better option as a gift, than for something for yourself!
