The Nu Momz Hot and Cold Breast Therapy Gel Packs (UPC #860014538421) come well packaged in a box with a plastic seal inside to protect them. There are two gel packs that are shaped like rings with a seven inch diameter. One side of a pack is covered with soft and velvety fabric. It feels very comfortable and the layer of fabric protects your skin from direct contact with the cold. The other side is clear, flexible plastic. Inside is filled with gel with soft squishy beads. The gel packs have a neat design that partially divides the gel and beads in six sections that are open at the top. The gel and beads can be moved around to distribute heat or cold, but it keeps the gel/beads around the whole ring and stops them from pooling around the bottom (like most of the gel packs I have used).I was able to heat a gel pack in the microwave in 20 seconds. The gel and beads can move around inside the pack so that the heat can be distributed evenly. I put the other gel pack in the freezer for about an hour and a half to make it cold. They felt very soothing.The gel packs can be washed easily.

Great comfort for nursing!
With our third child arriving in just a few months my wife is getting everything ready for her breastfeeding journey again! She was so excited to get these therapy packs because she knows exactly how helpful they can be for relief. The design is really smart with the cutout in the center so they can fit perfectly around her pump flanges or just sit comfortably on her. She absolutely loves the plush pink fabric on the back because it feels so soft and gentle against the skin which is exactly what she needs.The dual function of these packs is definitely the best feature. She plans to use them cold to help with any swelling or engorgement pain but she is also happy that they can be heated up to help encourage milk flow. The gel beads inside make them flexible so they mold to the shape of the body really well. It is great to have a reusable option that is easy to clean and ready to go whenever she needs it. This is a great value for a simple tool that offers so much comfort for new moms!

As someone obsessed with heat therapy, I know these gel packs are infinitely handy to have around. These are versatile for cold or warm therapy, and really, over any area of need. As I have never used ones of these variety before, I was pleasantly surprised to see how large they were upon arrival. No milk, yet, but these will really come in handy! I love that they are compact enough that you can still use them during feeding, to help with aches and pains. Also a cool idea to use while pumping. Gel packs are easy to heat, easy to use, but freezing always takes some time. You could opt to refrigerate them, if frozen gel isn’t your thing. Cold therapy is a bit hit or miss with me, as my muscles tense up fairly easily. At 14.99 I found these to be higher in price than many similar options. However, I see there is currently a coupon for half off, making it comparable to others found here. Love the fresh seals, for hygienic purposes. I would definitely recommend these, on sale.

Nice and big!
These ice packs are great! They are bigger than I expected, which is nice because I’m a DDD cup now after my third baby. They really have full coverage. I often get clogged ducts on the side or top of my breasts, so I love the size.I use them as ice packs when I’m engorged and they take about 2 hours to get cold enough. I like that the reverse side is a nice fuzzy fabric, though that makes them a bit trickier to clean.The hole in the middle is a good size so they would work well as warm packs for pumping, though I don’t use them for that purpose because I’m already an over-producer. Though I noticed in the instructions it says to only heat in ten second increments (mine gets warm in about 15 seconds), but on the gel pack itself it says something about 25-40 seconds. I imagine they would burn or melt if you put them in for 40 seconds straight!Overall, they are really well made. I think these are a good value.

Definitely a must!
This hot and cold breast therapy packs are a must to have on hand for any pumping/breastfeeding mom! When I have clogged ducts I heat them in the microwave for about 20 seconds and apply throughout the day. They definitely help. They also help with milk flow. The shape and size fits around my pumps great! They also can easily be placed in my bra so I can be out and about while wearing them. When I am in pain I use cold after pumping. These freeze in about an hour and can be applied to help soothe. The fabric layer around them keeps my skin from getting too cold. They are durable and very similar to another name brand pack that I have.
