So Far a Good Deal – One Warning the Lids Are Plastic
These are so far a very good product. I accidentally ordered these two compartment style but I am still making use of them. Lids fasten tightly. Roomier than they look. Holds a decent amount of food. Trying to get rid of all my old plastic containers. After repeated use I am sure the microplastics are abundant.These are compact enough they are easy to store. One thing I think they should change is the lids are plastic, they should be glass. Plastic lids defeat the purpose of trying to get away from microplastics.

Great for single serving meal prep
I have the same brand and size in an undivided format that I use for batch prep storage.These divided glass containers are great perfect item for single serving meal prep, portion control, and quick heat up.I recently ccoked a lot of pork loin chops, delicata squash, and broccoli. Diced up the pork, added to the small divided section with a variety of condiments and sauces, and added squash slices and broccoli florettes in the larger divided section. Made enough for 5 servings in the fridge and 5 servings in the freezer. No signs of freezer burn on the frozen ones and the refrigerated ones only took 3 minutes in the microwave (remove plastic lid and cover with paper towel) to become steaming hot while still moist and tender. Cleans up easily in the dishwasher.They don’t nest together for storage like the undivided ones do, but I could easily stack 3 high on my cabinet shelf.Have not yet microwaved any directly from the freezer, so can’t attest to the cold shock resistance now. If anything unexpected happens, I will update this review.

I have a variety of glass containers with the 4 clip on lids. Thats all I want to use now as they are easier to open and don’t leak. These glass bento boxes are a level up because there is a glass divider built in, I can prepare raw veggies on one side and fill the smaller side with thick dip. I place these in the fridge for a handy low calorie snack. Also I place cooked vegetables on one side and cooked chicken on the other and freeze it right in these containers for a quick handy healthy freezer meal and no food has to touch plastic. When company comes I can serve fresh buns with one side of the container full of butter and the other with jam. Its a hit with the crowd. They take up more room to store because of the glass divider so they don’t stack as well as my other open containers but I love these for the variety of uses. The lids click shut easily with the 4 flaps. Be aware the lids only secure the entire outside of the entire container, but if you try to carry runny liquids they will not stay separated as the glass divider is slightly lower inside than the sides of the container and will run into the other side if you carry the unit crooked or upside down, hence I only use thick dip for raw vegetables. The price was reasonable for 8 containers.
