Lavender extract is the most widely recognized scent for its soothing, calming aromatic qualities. It’s actually been proven to quell anxiety and promote sleep. An ancient natural remedy; lavender is a flowering member of the mint family. The name comes from the Latin word ‘lavere,’ which means ‘to wash.’ It is known to even help repel insects – although bees love the flower.
