As a male user, I purchased the NYOrtho Abdominal Binder Lower Waist Support Belt for extra core and lower back support, and it’s been very helpful. The material feels sturdy yet comfortable, and the compression is firm without being restrictive. It stays in place well throughout the day and doesn’t roll up or dig into my skin.I mainly use it during daily activities and light movement, and it provides noticeable support to my midsection and lower waist. The adjustable wrap makes it easy to get the right fit, and it’s breathable enough to wear for extended periods.Overall, this binder does exactly what it’s supposed to do solid support, good comfort, and easy to use. A good option for men needing extra abdominal or waist support.

Comfortable and Lightweight 😊
I am very pleased with this binder. I had hernia surgery and needed an extra binder because the one I received from the hospital needs to be washed and I need to wear it for 6 weeks. It’s durable and supports very well! Boy the Velcro is excellent and holds in place! Plus it’s very comfortable and affordable!

Very good – have tried other brands
This 3-band belt is better than most of the others I’ve tried, but a lot like some other brands as well. I use it for abdominal hernia support. The material (elasticized cotton, it seems) is as breathable as can be expected and is the right thickness and amount of stretchiness to give good support. Some other similar brands, not so much. It is comfortable enough to wear for long periods directly against the skin. The Velcro strip attaches to the binder material itself – typical for this type of belt – so the material has a tendency to fray over time. That’s not a big deal. I have ordered another.Be sure to save the strip of plastic-like material that covers the Velcro strip when you first receive it. It comes in handy to cover the Velcro when not in use so it doesn’t hook on other material, and you’ll need it to cover the Velcro when you wash it. I wash it by hand and hang it to dry.

It makes my back feel great. Lots of support and comfortable. The quality is excellent. I haven’t done anything strenuous in it yet (slipped disc) but it seems breathable. I’m not sweating in it.

Got Sturdy?
It does offer full coverage of torso and is easy to apply independently. Very comfortable. I wasn’t a fan because it didn’t provide any sturdy support as I would have preferred. It didn’t feel like there was too much of a difference, but I could see this being beneficial fresh from a surgery or one that requires little to no compression. Definitely want to make sure you order the right size!

Just what I needed
I had laparoscopic surgery a week ago, just got this today and wish I would have had sooner.Several reviews are disappointed with the pilling…. that’s going to happen with Velcro. The fabric is thick and sturdy. The binder will last me as long as I need it (a few weeks). And I’m putting it away for any future surgeries. (Do keep the dark blue piece of Velcro it comes with to put on for washing (the piece says to discard….hold on).)Now for the important stuff – I scoured the reviews for sizing information and came up a little short. I am 5’3″, 133#. I got the 6″ (2-panel) in the 30″-45″ size. It is perfect! The 9″ was too tall – would have been uncomfortable while sitting. The 6″ is the right size for my build and need – if you were wearing this after a C-section, you might want the 9″ even if you’re short. The length is perfect. I’m about a size 8 and there is a solid 8″ of overlap.Some reviews say you need help getting it on to get it tight enough. With the 9″, yes. With the 6″, I can do it myself in the mirror.I have only worn it with a layer under it. I do imagine it would be uncomfortable on the skin at the edges. I took a nap with it on and had a much easier time laying down and getting back up – it really helps hold the belly together to allow movement without tearing anything.Wearing under the main layer of clothes, it does have a slimming effect despite being a little bulky. Bonus!

Worked like a charm
I injured my oblique muscle and my doctor prescribed m an abdominal binder. But instead of paying out the wazoo I bought this one. It helped tremendously in stabilizing the muscle during everyday movement and it was cheaper then the prescribed one. I’m very thankful I have it as I’m told the chances of reinjury are high. I would recommend this to anyone needing a good abdomen binder.
