Virtually leak-proof even when bulging–if you have leaks, try moving up a size
Diaper reviews are only so helpful, as so much depends on the baby’s shape; a “good” diaper is relative. But I have tried TONS of brands and can honestly say that these are the hands-down best diapers…at least for my daughter.1. My daughter is tiny for her size. At most, she’s been in the 1 percentile for weight–when she’s even on the charts. At 1 year old, she’s maybe 15 pounds, if that. (Yes, her weight is managed by doctors and she is fine.) Bottom line is that we could not seem to find ANY diaper that would fit her without major blowouts and leakage. We have tried Target’s Up & Up brand (which worked fabulously for my small-average son and was the 2nd-best diaper option for daughter), Costco’s Kirkland brand (The Worst), Huggies Naturals, Swaddlers Stay Dry (or whatever they’re called), etc. I was LOSING MY MIND and sick of shelling out big bucks on diapers that were so bad, I couldn’t even force myself to use them all up, frugal as I am. So grateful my sister-in-law insisted that I had to try these. I was hesitant about the price, but these diapers are the only ones that work…and boy do they catch it all!We actually tend to size up early. If we went by the box weight recommendations, we should still be using size 2; but because of her age, my girl eats enough food to need a bigger diaper with a bit more capacity. So moving her up to size 3 early has made an already secure diaper practically leak-proof. And I think it speaks to the diaper that a bigger size is still snug enough on my teeny tiny baby that it doesn’t leak. The leg openings are super snug without being tight or constrictive. Yet my sister-in-law’s son is off-the-charts BIG for his age, her daughter is small-average, and these diapers work wonderfully for her and are the only diapers she buys. Apparently they fit a variety of body types and sizes, both boys and girls. My daughter is a sleep-peer, lol. I have picked her up from a 12-hour night’s sleep with a bulging wet diaper that looks about to explode (come on, if your child sleeps through night, you know what I’m talking about) and rarely is there any dampness outside of the diaper. That’s incredible. I also love the wetness indicator line, which turns from yellow to blue when wet. Baby products that *actually* work are so worth the extra pennies. And with subscribe and save, these are actually very competitively priced.

    Pampers, you da best!
I just scrolled back to 2017 in my orders and found the very first box of diapers I bought on Amazon..and these were them! Man, I miss the lower costs back then, but these diapers were amazing and served the purpose of inevitable baby blow outs. Thank you, pampers! Oh and at 2025, we are OFFICIALLY done with diapers!

Great Product — But Why the Confusing Product Differences Pampers? (Read for explanation on Dry-Max vs. Non-Dry Max)
Most hospitals I know of will use these Pampers Swaddlers diapers for babies born in the hospital. I am sure many of you are buying these because it was what your baby first used at the hospital.I have been ordering these exact diapers (either from sellers Trend marketing or Planet Stuff, both “fulfilled by Amazon”) for about a month now for my newborn (born 6lbs 7oz). They fit her great and we have not had any leaks or blowouts (knock on wood). They are soft, seemingly comfortable for her, and I do not believe that it irritates her skin. Here comes the tricky part.As you may or may not know, Pampers has something called “DRY MAX” that is added to some diapers to make them more absorbent. These extra substances may or may not irritate your baby’s skin. Search online and you will find that many people have complained about having DRY MAX in the diapers and it giving their baby a rash.To convolute things even more, go to a local store that sells diapers and you will probably find that some Pampers Swaddlers packages say “with Dry Max” on them and some dont. So Pampers makes two versions of Swaddlers, one with Dry max and one without? WRONG! (well, according to Pampers themselves that is wrong).Straight from Pampers themselves:1. Any regular Pampers Swaddlers (non-Sensiitive versions) diapers have Dry-Max2. Pampers Swaddlers SENSITIVE do NOT have Dry-MaxSo, what about these diapers? They are marked as Pampers Swaddlers (non-Sensitive). So we assume they have Dry-Max in them right? WRONG! Pampers does it again and confuses us even more — order these (from the sellers i listed) and you will notice that packaging has a special little symbol on it that reads “SPECIALIZED HOSPITAL PRODUCT”. What’s that all about? I contacted Pampers again:”Thanks for writing! There is some packaging that is normally not offered at the retail level. These Swaddlers are going to be plain white for the hopsitals, and the make up of the diaper is like Swaddlers Sensitive. “So there you have it. Even those these are marked as Regular Swaddlers, they are a special hospital version and do NOT have Dry-max (a.k.a. are made like Swaddlers Sensitive).whew, that was confusing! When my baby moves up to size 1, i will go straight to Swaddlers Sensitive and not even deal with this dry-max vs. non-drymax fiasco (note: many people are happy with dry-max too! just depends on your baby!)hope this helps!!!!edit* just wanted to mention, in the Amazon picture for this product you can actually see the special symbol. It is a white circle with a + in the middle, and around it says “Specialized Hospital Product”

We’ve been using swaddlera the since birth of our son. We tried few other brands that were passed along or gifted to us (Huggies and Kirkland), but these seemed to work best for our baby. From what I hear and read every baby is different and some diapers mat work for one baby but not for the other. Which has nothing to do with the quality of product. They are soft and it’s great having the wetness indicator. We haven’t had any sensitivity or rashes.I don’t change little ones diaper at night unless I know that he pooped, most of the time he wakes up dry. Occasionally it leaks through, which is not surprising as it is not meant to absorb that much liquid. It’s great purchasing it through Amazon as not only is it cheaper than even Walmart, but it also comes straight to your door. Quick delivery.

We have used Swaddlers for our son from birth through toddlerhood, and will continue using this brand and model until he’s out of diapers. I love that they hold a lot of liquid and rarely leak. In the 2.5 years he’s used them, they have never compression leaked despite him drinking a lot of fluids and dispelling a lot of liquids at times. These Size 5 diapers easily hold a whole night’s worth of pee and can also additionally hold his morning poop. I’ve never found them to cause rashes and also found he seems comfortable in them when wet. It’s also great that they have these in Size 6 for if they’re needed.

These are the only diapers that I will use with my son. We have experimented with other brands, and have found that they do not provide the same level of protection or comfort. These diapers are very soft (almost cloth-like), and my baby does not seem to mind wearing them. They have a cute Sesame Street character on the front – to date, my son who is 15 months old does not care about the characters, but if you have a little one who likes Sesame Street, this could definitely be a plus. These diapers are easy to get on and off, and the tabs do not loose their stickiness. Overall, I would recommend these diapers to a friend.

Unfortunately my baby had a rash with this diapers so we changed the brand and it dissappeared the rash.
