Secure support
Pros- easy to put on- very secure Velcro- reasonably comfortable over undershirt- good support- can position higher or lower easilyCon- the ribbing doesn’t go the whole height of the band, which for me results in about an inch fold over at the top.This is working perfectly for what I suspect may be a hernia. Will allow me to go about my days until my doctor appointment. Will probably use in the future for support when doing a lot of lifting/bending as it helps with my posture. I was less than an inch into the XL size via the size chart, so I got the L instead, it was the right choice, the large is perfect

Very comfortable! Flexible, but just enough rigidity!
I love this abdominal binder. I have a 3-piece set, but I wanted to try this one piece so I could have options. I bought this for recovery after a hysterectomy and it is so comfortable. The fit is great and very forgiving so I can easily adjust as I swell, and the material is top notch. The support is wonderful offering rigidity with also allowing for flexibility as you move through your day. I can even sleep with it with no problems as it stays in place. It is also easy to take off if I decide in the middle of the night that I no longer want to wear it. It has great compression that can be tightened or loosened because of the large Velcro areas, and it is also very breathable which is important to not add to the hysteria of my hot flashes. I would definitely buy again.

Helped Provide Support for Diastasis Recti Discomfort
Even though I’m 4 years post-partum, I still struggle with diastasis recti. When I got a job in a warehouse and spent the day lifting cases of wine, the center line of my abdomen was sore for several days! I bought this binder to wear while at work so that the internal pressure wasn’t able to focus on the weakest point of my abdomen, putting me at risk of rupture or hernia. It worked! I felt much better supported, I didn’t have any issue with soreness like I did that first day.One thing I will say is that I tried sleeping in it as was recommended by some health professionals. The idea was that it would help prevent the pressure of different sleeping positions from exacerbating the diastasis. That was too uncomfortable! But I do think that it’s slowly become less tight overtime, that or I’ve just gotten used to it because it’s more comfortable to wear now than it was when I first got it.I would definitely buy this again, it was great value for the money, it worked well to prevent abdominal pain. It was easy to use and adjust, the Velcro was strong and didn’t come apart on its own. It’s lightweight and easy to wear.

Great abdominal binder, just wish it came in a smaller size.
This is the second abdominal binder I’ve bought from Gepoetry, the first being their 3-in-1 Postpartum Recovery Support Belt set. I got that set for hysterectomy recovery, and have posted a review for it as well for anyone interested.This binder is the same amazing quality as the first, and the one piece design is going to be great for further into my recovery, and as an everyday compression piece. It’s has a very comfortable fit, so it can be worn all day without feeling the need to remove it. I do recommend wearing a tank or cami under the binder to reduce any rubbing on the skin, along with protecting the binder from any sweat or oils on your skin.On top of my recent hysterectomy, I deal with chronic pain issues as well as EDS and POTS, so compression is a huge part of my daily routine to minimize pain and chronic illnesses symptoms.The only downside to this particular binder, for me, and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5; is that it was not available in a size small. This obviously won’t be an issue for everyone, but for the more petite customers, just be aware.I ordered the medium and can make it work, although the first main set of velcro attaches at the very edge, so I can’t get quite as much compression as I’d prefer. But since there is a second layer of velcro for extra support I’m not worried about the binder losing it’s grip and opening up.As reference for anyone looking for sizing help beyond the size chart in the listing, I’m 5’9″, ~120lbs, and my waist is typically 24″, although I am still dealing with some post surgery swelling/bloating, which is setting my waist at about 25″ in the morning, and closer to 25.5″/26″ by the end of the day. I’m 15 days post op as of writing this review(April 1st).If this binder ever comes out in a size small, I will definitely be purchasing another in the smaller size, but will also be keeping the medium since I can make it work, and might be able to add extra velcro to increase compression levels.Overall this a great abdominal binder that could help a variety of issues needing compression beyond postpartum/post surgery recovery, and the price can’t be beat for the quality of the product.
