Pretty good scar stuff
Here’s the truth. Scar treatments are everywhere, most of them promising miracles. This silicone scar tape? It actually does what it says. The material is medical-grade, thin, and sticks well without irritating the skin. It’s transparent, so you can wear it without looking like you’re covered in bandages, and it can be cut to fit scars of different sizes.Now, does it erase scars overnight? Of course not. Nothing does, nothing will permanently get rid of the looks of scars. But with consistent use, it helps soften the look of scars and keep the skin smoother. It’s particularly useful after surgery or if you’re prone to keloids. Overall, it looks decent.The downside? The roll is long, but the price is high for what’s essentially silicone in tape form. Id like to amend my review- this stuff is, INCREDIBLE!! 10 out of 10. It STICKS! I had a bad burn about a week ago thats healing into, well, a very visible scar. This tape has really accelerated the healing process. What blows my mind is how well it holds, even over thick layers of ointments. Believe you me when I say Ive got a nice collection of ointments. I’ll layer on three different creams, creating a little volcano of occlusives. I place the tape over the cream, press down the borders then smooth the cream underneath. Come morning, the tape hasn’t budged and the cream is still right where I left it. Just amazing. This is my first time using silicone tape, so I dont have anything to compare my experience to. Im not sure if this is typical of silicone tapes, but im thoroughly impressed.My original review—-> Wonderful, thick gooey adhesive. Exactly what you want for scar healing. Also, i put Vaseline on my scar then placed the tape on top of the Vaseline. It still stuck! I also like how these allow you to tear them in strips.

Convenient way to treat scars
Easy to use strips. They can be easily cut down for any size as well. I’ve been using them on my son’s ankles after surgery. They are comfortable and just enough sticky to stay on all night but not be annoying.

This is good silicone tape – I got it for the purpose of using it to battle wrinkles (by leaving it on for the whole day) and while I am not sure whether that whole method works, I could say this is a good silicone scar tape – it is pretty adhesive without leaving residue, it is not irritating, and while the fact that it is segmented first seemed gimmicky, I do see its purpose – this tape would be sticky/annoying to cut with scissors, so it is a convenience

Stays on even in the shower
I use this mainly to keep minor cuts and scrapes dry during the shower instead of using band aids. I like that you cut these to the size needed. I’ll put some petroleum jelly on the cut and put a strip of the silicone sheet. It stays on really well and has not come off in the slightest after an entire day of wearing. This includes wearing in the shower as well. I can not comment on the scar reduction as it is too early to tell any improvements. But I use this mainly to keep cuts dry and it has worked like a champ so far.

Easy to use at a decent price
Just the perforations alone make this a an excellent scar tape to carry on the go, as the default size is just right for most scars, and it’s easy enough to rip — you never have to worry about keeping scissors on hand. The tape stays put, lasts longer than I usually keep it on anyway, and hasn’t bothered my skin at all. So far, no complaints.
