Exceeded My Expectations — Safe, Soft, and Actually Leak-Proof!
As a parent who’s very conscious about ingredients and skin safety, I’m always on the lookout for products that are both effective and non-toxic. These SmartyPants Pull Up Style Diapers have genuinely impressed me.First off, the EWG Verified label is what caught my eye — it’s rare to find pull-ups that meet those clean standards. Once they arrived, I could immediately tell the difference: the material feels softer and more breathable than most brands we’ve tried. My toddler has very sensitive skin, and after switching to these, we’ve had zero irritation or redness.The quilted 360° waistband is a game-changer. It fits snugly without being too tight, so it moves with my little one through all the running, climbing, and dancing. Amazing, clean diapers but sizing struggles
Mixed feelings but love them?! Let me start by saying, I love Heathy Baby brand! Their commitment to non-toxic ingredients and eco-friendliness is the highest standard, so of course I’d want nothing less for my baby. We started using their regular diapers when my son was born, but had to stop when he was a few months old and rolling/wiggling lots since the regular diapers don’t have scrunchy/elastic-y area on the back and he needed a snugger fit. Now that he’s older (8 months, size 4 diapers) we were THRILLED to start using Healthy Baby again and try out Smarty Pants! They were a dream to put on, as my baby rolls around during diaper changes – pulling them on instead of dealing with tabs was a breeze. They even have a little sticky tab so you can roll them up and keep the mess contained after use. They’re ultra absorbent, ultra soft, and tear away at the sides when ready to remove which is amazing! No leaks, even after a full nights sleep and diaper felt dry to the touch. The only thing that wasn’t amazing is they are a bit narrow and I’m a little afraid for what #2’s will be like, as his little booty cheeks are sticking out a bit on the sides and the waist is a bit too small/tight for him. He’s only 8 months and 23 pounds, so technically the 4 should have fit. The size 5 is for 27lbs and up, but I’m interested in buying the 5 to see if it works so we can keep using these amazing crawl/proof, squirm proof, mama friendly diaper pants!!

Soft, clean and affordable!
Loving these pull ups. We ordered the size 4 and the waist was pretty tight. Sized up for the 5 and it’s got a good waist and there don’t seem to be any leaking problems right now. Very soft and love that they are EWG verified.

Good option but room for improvement!
I love healthy baby, but they struggle with size (both diapers and pull ups)!PROS:- Softness- Durable/Absorbent- Non-toxic quality (of course!!)- No scent- Pull option for younger kiddoCONS:- Hard to tell front from back- Tight waist!!My 15mos old is 22lbs and on the taller side (65-70 percentile) and these leave marks on his hips. The waistband is “tall” so we fold this down to minimize any discomfort.

Size 4 runs small
The quality is definitely good and there were no problems with the absorbancy, but the sizing was way off for my 24 pound daughter, who should have been a size 4. The elastic was so tight it left red marks on her hips and waist. I recommend sizing up. It was just disappointing to have this problem after spending so much money on them.

Work great and hold just as well as the diapers do. Very thin, just like the diapers but comfortable. I did have to size up one than the diapers, they run a little small.

Are they really clean as advertised??
I love the intention behind making these diapers. They look great! However:SIZE: They run small compared to other diapers. At the time of writing this review, my baby can comfortably wear a size 4 diaper based on her height and weight, but I get her size 5 diapers for the added volume. Even the size 5 was tight on her.SMELL: My biggest issue is that they reeked of chemical. I am not sure if this was an issue with the make itself, or with the storage/shipping/handling but i had to throw them out.NOT EASY TO TEAR OFF: The side stitches look great but they don’t tear off well. You need to be mindful when you try to take it off as you may accidentally press on your baby’s skin and hurt them. I have seen other companies implement this successfully, not sure if this is due to the materials used in making these diapers.
