Exactly what I’ve been needing!
I’ve been in desperate need of a long lasting, high quality body butter that doesn’t cost upwards of $50 for a small jar. I recently recalled loving TBS’s olive body butter, and wow this is even better than I remembered. It’s silky smooth, thick, smells great AND absorbs great. It leaves me feeling moisturized without feeling slick or sticky.This has become my new go-to after showers and I will absolutely be buying again! Great for body, hands and feet. Especially during dry winters—I’m very thankful to have rediscovered this body butter. Sensitive skin and sensory issues approved. Worth every penny.

Great scent, just older & “off” with this order
I’ve used this body butter for years. This was the only time it smelled “off” as if it were on the verge of “turning” – not rancid, by any means, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the scent became unpleasant before I finish the jar.

I purchased this body butter several times because it is so soothing on very dry skin. After being in the elements outside, it feels like a spa treatment to use it. I also like the fragrance, which seems milder than many other products that I’ve tried. I use it on very dry skin…rather sparingly (1-2times per week)…and a container lasts several months for me. It is thick, but not oily, sticky feeling. It absorbs into the skin. I’ve used it on legs,arms, and torso…not my face.

Not what I expected
Well, I ordered this product because The Body shop just replaced the original Olive Body Butter with some diluted copy of it followed by a pity marketing campaign of it.Unfortunately, the product I purchased was made in Germany, God only knows when because the expiration date is not on it, nor is the smell. It is completely scent-free, where the original Olive Body Butter had a wonderful refreshing fragrance.

I’m feeling really disappointed that TBS is no longer available in the USA, particularly in Nebraska. I used to love being able to visit their stores, and their products are truly top-of-the-line. Unlike many other brands, TBS products work wonders for me, and the scents are absolutely wonderful without being overpowering or triggering my migraines. One of my absolute favorites is the OLIVE scent. It’s fresh, clean, and just the right amount of intensity. The body butter is incredibly moisturizing without leaving any greasy or sticky residue, and the fact that it’s vegan is just the cherry on top!
