no more thermometer wires hanging out of everything
I first got it I downloaded the app, charged up the host & the thermometers and everything worked with the exception that it wouldn’t change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. I fiddled with it for a while but wasn’t going to use until our 16” of snow disappeared a bunch. Finally decided to double smoke a sliced smoked ham for Christmas which I’m doing now. Everything still worked with the exception of the Fahrenheit readings not working so I deleted the app and retrieved it from iCloud and put it back on my phone and BOOM everything worked perfectly! I absolutely love this remarkable gadget. It’s so simple to use. It shows my smokers ambient temperature, different meats and their done degrees for rare, medium and well done cuts of meats, it has a 9 or 18 degrees warning alarm (your choice ) for the finished degrees and you can do a history of your cook on a graph. I just love it. I had it on the back patio and I’ve wandered throughout the garage and house preparing other items for dinner and my iPhone app lets me know what’s going on every minute. I should have bought this a long time ago. I have a ton of wired thermometers that are a pain in the butt. This gadget set it in the meat and forget it. Can’t wait to cook four T-bones on my grill.

It works and cheaper than others
I didn’t want to spend double for a more name brand one if they function the same. I used to use the wired ones and that was a pain. I switched to the quick read ones where you stick it in but I found that I kept opening my smoker and guessing which led to it being overcooked or being more dry. I didn’t even realize that until I got this thing and I never need to open my smoker lid once. The meat comes out way better ubdisturbed.

Not sure these are the best but they do work well. Internal and ambient tip on each probe is nice. App works well. Base station is magnetic can slap it on the side of your grill or refrigerator!

Max ambient temperature = 212F
This product is NOT OVEN SAFE. As soon as temperatures exceed 212 F the probe stops reporting temperature and the app says the probe may be damaged.The purpose of this product appears to be to make you install the app, not to actually function.
