Great for Overnight Formula
When I bought this Chiller I couldn’t find any reviews online as it seemed to be a newly released product. I emailed their customer service with a couple questions about the product, got quick answers and decided to purchase it.I’m using this specifically for keeping batch made formula at safe temperatures overnight for my newborn. I don’t want to walk down my stairs in the middle of the night while sleep deprived to go to my fridge and I didn’t like mixing formula in my bedroom when I’m never sure how much exactly my baby is going to drink.Originally I tried a small mini fridge to keep the formula cold, but the small compact fridges that would fit in my bedroom don’t have actual compressors and didn’t keep the formula cold enough overnight. I then looked at so many different milk/formula thermos brands, but didn’t like that you had to remove ice packs to pour the formula and some had two separate containers to deal with in the middle of the night.This solved both my issues with the other thermos options and actually keeps the formula at safe temperatures all night. I’m able to easily pour exactly what I want into the bottle and if the baby wants a bit more, I can get just a little bit so easily. It is a bit awkward to pour when full and I’ve spilled a bit during the night, but that’s probably just my clumsiness. I’ve started putting a burp cloth under where I pour to be safe.I don’t have a dishwasher, so every morning I wash it by hand in a separate tub in my sink specifically for baby items, with a separate brush too. I then let the thermos air dry and fill the chiller with cold water. I use a paper towel to handle the chiller once washed to keep it clean during filling and I keep the paper towel wrapped around it when I put it in a gallon freezer bag and place it in the back of my freezer. That way when I take it out of the freezer at night I don’t accidentally dirty the chiller which is going into the formula. During the day I batch make formula and store it in my glass formula mixer (DO NOT STORE FORMULA IN THE THERMOS IN THE FRIDGE, it will insulate it from the cold as well and not be safe temperatures). At night, I pour 20 oz into the thermos, add the chiller, get empty bottles ready, and go up to bed. Usually with the number bottles I’m making during the night for my newborn, I’m through the 20 oz by mid-morning. When I wash it over 12 hours later, usually there is still a small chunk of ice in the chiller, but most is melted.Overall I’m really happy with it and would definitely purchase it again. I’ll probably use it for travel in the future, but for right now it’s just for overnight feedings. Hopefully this review helps somebody else!

Perfect Portable Insulated Container
We make a lot of day trips as a family with a toddler. It is a chore to take ice packs to keep the milk or to just transport it around. I have been looking for options to avoid this process entirely and this product is the perfect solution.This is a vacuum insulated stainless steel tumbler designed to store and transport breast milk. Upon opening the packaging, first thing that strikes you is its durability. This is very high quality tumbler that clearly shows. This has a removable inner chilling insert within the insulated tumbler. Chilling insert can be removed entirely fill it with water and freeze it until it is ready or just fill it with ice when you are ready to take it out. This allows the milk to be kept in cool temperature for long time. This is tapered towards the bottom allowing easier pour on the wider top. Tapered bottom is perfect for keeping it in car holders.This tumbler holds 20oz of milk, enough volume to cover an entire day of milk for a toddler. Top lid securely seals the tumbler preventing any leaks. This is dishwasher safe, so no hand rinsing needed.This is a perfect container for storing and transporting milk without worrying about keeping it cold. Thumbs up from my end.

Dr. Brown formulates chiller works fantastically!
I’m a big fan of Dr. Brown products and this breastmilk/formula chiller did not disappoint. I recently took it on a trip to Florida, flying 6 hours to get there and a full day at EPCOT.We filled the middle chamber with water and froze overnight, then filled with formula each way for the flights, and also for EPCOT. The chamber stayed cold the entire time, at least 24 hours without being in a refrigerator or freezer. I have not tried just using ice though.I love that all pieces are dishwasher safe! Makes cleaning so much easier. It’s easy to hand wash but you will need a bottle brush to wash the interior if you’re washing by hand. The larger bottle was large enough for me to put my hand in with a sponge. I tried a different brand that is not dishwasher safe and couldn’t find in my machine even if it were safe because it’s so big and bulky.A downside for me though is that it scratched very easily. I had it in my travel bag/diaper bag for the trip, not scraping against anything that I noticed, and I saw many scratches when I took it out after the first flight. It would also be nice if there were additional colors.Highly recommended for travel days.
