Good alternative to ferrous sulfate
Pretty good price. Good quality & expiration date. Main ingredient is iron glycinate (ferrous bis-glycinate, to be precise).If the usual cheap iron tablets (ferrous sulfate) are not doing the job, or are difficult for your gut to tolerate or absorb, this “gentle” iron formulation may be a good alternative to try. Great!
Ironically, although these are smooth capsules, I’m not able to swallow them whole and have to chew them, instead!🤣🤣 But practically as soon as it was swallowed, I felt my eyes widen a tad. For someone who finds 18 mg too low, and 65 mg way too high, these 28 mg ones are definitely gentle, and are doing just fine so far!
