Sturdy tea bags
Tea bags are nice. I’ve had tea bags bust open or string come off. The taste and aroma was nice as well.

Not sure about the lactation benefits, but it is good.
I like fennel seeds, anise seeds and ginger. I like nice naturally decaffeinated teas. So it’s probably no surprise that I like this.It does taste good.Supposedly the fenugreek can act like estrogen in your body, which is where the most obvious lactation tea claims come from. While it seems like the jury is still out on whether lactation teas can be scientifically proven to provide a benefit to milk production when breast feeding, there’s nothing here that would give me pause in having a nursing mother, or any woman, have a cup of this tea daily. As a guy, I’m sure I’m outside of the target audience drinking this, but there are supposedly some health benefits to men taking fenugreek too. I’m not going to have more than a cup a day because the fenugreek seems to be medicinal enough that I don’t want to over-consume it, but as a tea, it tastes great, and it’s always nice to have a variety of naturally caffeine free teas to mix in with my decaf coffee consumption.

decent tasting tea
Wife liked the tea. Efficacy remains to be seen after consuming for some time to see if it really helps with milk production.

16 months and still making milk…
ANYA Herbal Lactation tea was pleasant to sip every night as I did my last pumping session of the day. Given some of the strong ingredients, I wasn’t sure if it would be easy to drink alone, but it was mellow, smooth, and soothing. Since there is no caffeine or anything, it was nice to drink at night, when the kids are finally all sleeping and I can relax. I’m not sure if the tea made a difference in the output, but I have been incorporating these and other galactagogues at light dosage throughout my lactation. Not sure that I would still be making milk at 16th month, without! Either way, it’s also a pleasant way to hydrate, which is mission critical in my output volume.

Organic tea in… plastic teabags
I buy primarily organic products in order to avoid pesticides, because I don’t want those in my body. This tea seemed very promising, but the teabags are made of some type of plastic. They melt when you hold them over a candle. With all the new research coming out about the suspected harmful effects of microplastics in food packaging (especially when heated) you’d think a company wouldn’t put *organic* tea in *plastic* teabags.I ended up cutting the teabags open and putting the tea in my own diffuser. The flavor is nice, but I can’t get over the plastic teabags so I’m giving it only one star.

Pyramid Shaped Organic Lactation Tea Bags
Ever since i’ve been introduced to Korean pyramid shaped tea bags, made of a biodegradable and compostable mesh. I felt the teas just tasted brighter, cleaner, and ease of mind not contributing to consumer waste (at the rate of which I drink tea). These lactation teas are the same mesh tea bags made of 100% non-GMO sugar cane. The tea itself is 8 milk-boosting herbs and some ginger and spearmint for flavor and digestive ease. One tea bag can be brewed with 8 oz of hot water.Ingredients: Organic Spearmint (leaf), Organic Ginger (root), Organic Fennel (seed), Organic Moringa (leaf), Organic Nettle (leaf), Organic Anise (seed), Organic Licorine (root), Organic Fenugreek (seed), Organic Caraway (seed), and Organic Blessed Thistle (herb).Priced $18 at time of order, and now $13.50 (with 25% Black Friday Deal) at time of review, for the 20 bags. So $0.70-0.90 per cup of tea.Review of ANYA Herbal Lactation tea, 20 bags – Ginger, Moringa, Fenugreek, Toxicologist-approved, Breastfeeding Safe. Taste and aroma are nice
I’m a guy, I didn’t get this for ‘lactation’ benefits but I just like herbal tea and its fun to try new ones. This is a nice tasty blend of what seems like all natural ingredients. I like the taste! I let it steep for about 5 minutes which is what I think the package recommended. Ideally slightly shorter is better to preserve temperature but I do cover it with something when I steep that long.I do think having a wide variety of natural ingredients is probably good for you in the long run in a general way. But the marketing claim “Organic Essentials” is probably going way too far.The packaging is a thick plastic bag which is totally fine for this quantity of tea bags and maybe can even be reused for something else potable. This review was for “ANYA Herbal Lactation tea, 20 bags – Ginger, Moringa, Fenugreek, Toxicologist-approved”

The tea is okay. I would like to know what the bags are made of and where it’s made.
I’m unsure what the teabags are made out of, I’d like that to be clearly labeled. What the actual bags are made of is just as important to me as the tea itself. It says who it is manufactored for, but I may have missed, I can’t tell where it is actually made. I hope those two things will be apparent in the future. The taste is okay. I love ginger tea, but some of the other ingredients, while nice, take away from the taste.
