The cover is loose and doesn’t fit the foam pad tightly. Why?
This may happen if the foam hasn’t fully expanded. Lay the pad flat up to 48 hrs to reach full size before putting into the cover. Then press out the air from one side to the other through the foam shape for a snug fit. (Installation video to refer)
Is the pad thick and safe? Does it slide?

Smells chemical. Is this safe?
Slight smell from new PU material is normal. Complies with safety standards for baby products. Simply air unpacked for 1-2 days – smell disappears completely. Safe for babies!
Why is the cover so wrinkled?
Wrinkles are caused by shipping compression in packaging. Not a defect! The soft surface will smoothen by itself in 1-2 days at room temperature. Softness is designed for comfort. Just lay it flat.

I really love this changing pad. I received it as a baby registry gift and it did not come with the cover. When I reached out to Comommy’s customer service, they responded immediately and sent a replacement cover. The customer service was great and the product it great. The design is small and it fits well on a small changing table. It is firm and soft and the cover makes it easy to wipe clean as needed.

Loose fit
The cover stays pretty loose when the insert the cushion is inside. It definitely does not look how is shown in the image. I wish I could return it, I never used it.

Practical, But Not Baby-Friendly Too Cold
The wipeable feature is convenient and easy to clean, which is a big plus. However, the “soft” surface feels cold to the touch, especially during diaper changes, and my baby clearly didn’t love that. It’s functional, but the material makes it less comfortable than expected. Good idea in theory, just not cozy enough in practice.

My baby wasn’t a fan so we returned it, but overall the product was just ok. The other reviews stating that the Velcro wasn’t very durable were spot on. My baby was only 9lbs and it wouldn’t hold him securely in there.

Mat is very good, not too firm but not to soft. Cover is easily wiped clean, shame it can’t go in the wash but as you can wipe it all down I havnt needed to wash it and it’s stayed really clean. Comes in a small package and expands in 24 hours so make sure you open it at least a day before needing to use it!The dip is a good depth for holding baby in position, havnt used the clip much as my baby isn’t rolling yet.It’s super light weight so we move it around the house and use it in the bathroom to change him on!
