Nice Mattress, great price! Great purchase for babies, toddlers and dogs!
Been in use with my 18 month old son for over a year. So far everything is great. Yes, this comes covered with a plastic covering (not removable) however, it’s not uncomfortable or loud. I don’t hear the mattress at all once my son is situated.The cover is waterproof! Until there is a scratch or puncture then I don’t believe it would retain its waterproof status.Once a week, I change bedding throughout household including this mattress. Weekly I spray it down with Odoban to clean any bacteria, germs and to cut down on dust mites. Then, scrub any area that need cleaned on mattress or crib. Once dry, I spray down with Lysol and allow it to air dry. Cover back up with Mattress cover and sheets. Every couple changes I flip and rotate mattress. So, far (15 months later) absolutely NO issues!This is a standard sized baby mattress and will fit any crib or toddler bed.I have another one of these mattresses in use with dogs (German Shepherds) and again haven’t had an issue. I’ve purchased 2 good quality mattress cover and thicker flannel sheets. This mattress has been in use with the dogs for about a year and it’s not broken, split or even scratched. I do put a thick comforter over the top to help avoid potentially ruining the bed. My dogs will dig at the bed if uncomfortable. So the comforter being on top has helped not harm the actual mattress.

Great product and worth the money.
My now 16 month old boys have used these crib mattresses since birth and I love them! The are firm yet comfortable and plush-ish. They are very lightweight and so incredibly easy to change a sheet or two in the middle of the night if need be. Due to the double layer of protection of the plastic type of middle shell and outer shell over the mattress itself, nothing gets through. All I have to do is take the soiled sheet off and place a new one on. These are also flame retardant so that’s a plus and they are compatible with toddler beds!I know a lot of people complain saying that these don’t seem comfortable but my boys have always slept great on them and over time, the plastic almost seems to “stretch” so it’s not crinkly or noisy when they move. I change out my boys sheets every couple of days (if they don’t pee out of their diapers first) due to how much they drool and the outermost shell of the mattress is still intact and in good shape!

Besides the noise it’s great!
The covering sounds a little plastic like but it’s a mild sound. Other than that the baby loves it, it’s firm, waterproof, and seems to be worth it as the quality seems high.

This works surprisingly well as a dog bed mattress!
I purchased these for my dogs like many people did. I had been searching for 4″ foam to make them orthopedic pillows for hopefully cheaper than the $120+ price tag of pre-made pillows since I have some sewing prowess.I have two large dogs, a 82 lb. Boxer/Lab mix, and a 102 lb. Poodle/Lab mix so they needed something fairly large to sleep on. My boxer’s short hair is creating pressure spots on her elbows, knees, and ankles from sleeping on the floor all the time and we have carpet! They have smaller pillows that I made a while back using multiple layers of the egg crate foam you put on your bed that’s thin and while it works, because it’s in multiple layers it has bunched and moved around in one of the pillows and since I made a non-removable cover for them, I can’t get in there an adjust it which is my own fault. So, this time I wanted something that was solid foam so that problem could be avoided and I stumbled upon these mattresses.So far, the dogs love it! It is a little noisy because of the plastic cover but that is minor considering that cover will help keep the foam smelling and staying clean. It took a LONG time to make one cover because I’m using anti-pill fleece and I added a thin terry towel underneath the top layer to keep the dog’s toes from piercing the plastic as easily. Aside from making my zipper a little too small, the cover fits well, it’s not beautiful or straight because the fabric kept bunching but it’s functional. The dogs haven’t been using it long because I just finished it so I can’t say how the product will hold up over time, I will update at the end of the year. It’s a bit on the long side, I probably could’ve got away with an actual crib sized mattress instead but for the price I’m not going to complain. I could always try cutting it shorter if necessary later on and re-hemming the cover to fit. They seem to really enjoy laying on it and I know it will help out with supporting them as they age.If you’re looking for a cheap dog bed I don’t think you can go wrong with this item for $34 and free shipping, you’re not going to find a cheaper dog bed for large dogs!

Okay, not great.
Bought this for my dogs because of the water proof lining. I was surprised when I got it out of the box because it was thinner than I expected. The support was minimal and it felt like the materials were not as good as I was hoping for. I’m keeping it because it was budget friendly (especially if my dogs end up destroying it) but I would not have been as happy if it was for a baby crib. Maybe adding a mattresses topper would help if you need a toddler bed on a budget.
