The classic one-page-per-day format
Since its debut in 2002, this standard Hobonichi Techo type has been loved by many. Compact yet spacious, this A6 size techo features a one page per day format. The layout is based on an easy-to-use graph paper design. You can pair it with a Hobonichi Techo cover of your choice.
Basic Features 
Convenient, portable A6 size
The 105 x 148 mm (roughly 4″x 6″) A6 size is light and portable, making it easy to carry around and pull out anytime.
Tomoe River Paper
It is made from a light, durable paper called Tomoe River paper that feels great to use. This lets the techo be compact yet hold many pages.
Lay-Flat Binding
Special stitch-binding allows the techo to lay completely flat without being held down.
Rounded corners
The page corners are rounded to minimize creasing and damage to the edges when carried around or stored in a bag.
One page per day 
Daily Page
Write in your daily schedule, list tasks, or keep a journal, paste in things like movie ticket stubs or newspaper articles, draw pictures, and more.
To-do list
The to-do list is located at the top of the page with checkboxes for keeping track of your goals for the day.
24-hour timetable
Work and personal plans take place at different times of the day, so the planner uses a full 24-hour timetable to accommodate all schedules.
Mini calendar
The daily page also includes a mini monthly calendar at the bottom right of every two-page spread. The dates of the current pages are outlined.

A Beautifully Thought-Out Planner for Daily Life & Reflection ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The Hobonichi Techo 2026 A6 Original (English) is everything I hoped for and more. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are outstanding. The Tomoe River paper performs exactly as expected — thin yet durable, smooth, and a joy to write on whether I’m using gel pens, fountain pens, or markers. Ink dries well with minimal ghosting and zero feathering.Even though the A6 size is compact, the daily layout gives me the perfect amount of space for planning, journaling, and quick reflections. I love the little touches Hobonichi is known for: daily quotes, subtle grid layout, monthly overviews, and the thoughtful extras throughout the book. It strikes the perfect balance between structure and freedom, which makes it great for both productivity and creativity.The binding lays completely flat, making writing comfortable anywhere — at a desk, on the couch, or on the go. Everything you need and can be carried easily
I’m a returning customer. Love the original as it fits easily in any backpack or even purses. It held up well over a full year of use.Its structure of daily pages is great for daily planning (increment of 1/2 to 1hr), but it also has enough space to journal.Not only does it have daily pages, there’s monthly, yearly, habit tracker format, and plenty of fun misc. pages that you can use to document such as the books you’ve read or movies/shows watched in the year, commemorate highlights, etc.It’s the only planner I’ve consistently used compared to the many others that end up being empty half way thru.

Elegant, well designed carry-able daily planner
The pro is this is a great planner with beautiful quality paper and Japanese thoughtful elegance. It does not have weekly calendar pages, but does have a daily and monthly spread, so it’s more like a diary. The A6 size is smaller and can fit comfortably in my bag, thus more portable.The con is that there is no weekly spread like the bigger A5 cousin version of this planner. Another caveat is if you don’t like grids and prefer plain page with no lines, then this isn’t the planner for you. But overall, it’s a beautiful design and well thought high quality product.

It’s my first time buying a Hobonichi. Ive always been a planner girl but always have up 2 wks into it or a few months into the year.For me personally the Techo A6 is perfect! It has the yearly calendars, monthly calendars which are perfect for planning my work and daughters school. I love the Daily because it keeps me on track for my personal goals and it will allow ke to write my personal junk ideas 😅it comes with extra paper to be able to track my reading goals! It’s small enough to fit in my purse and carry with me everywhere in case an important idea comes up.

Best Planner on the Market
Tried and true, I don’t think I’ll ever buy another brand of planners ever again. The book is exceptionally durable, designed to be able to bend the spine. Perfect for those who either don’t know what they want, or who want it all. It contains a yearly index, monthly pages, weekly pages, and daily pages. It also has fun pages at the back like the top 100, or the 365 tracker. It contains tamoe river paper, which is excellent for planning. It’s very thin, but still does not have any bleed through. With all the different ways to organize, the size, and the quality of the paper, you will not find a better planner at a better price.

Great planner and size
I love this planner. Some people may think the writing space is too small and narrow —you have to write smaller and some like my sister would hate that—so it depends on personal preference. I think it’s a perfect and it’s easy to carry in my bag especially when I choose to carry a smaller bag. I’m not decorating or anything, it’s just pen and paper and I love the simplicity of that, I just want a functional planner. I have no complaints. You do have to test which pens and highlighters work though. It’s a smoother thin paper which means certain pens or highlighters can smudge or bleed through. That is the only thing I had to test and adjust too. For me? It’s completely worth it and I will continue to purchase this planner.

Ich liebe diesen Hobonichi Kalender! Man hat so viele Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten und man kann es komplett nach den eigenen Bedürfnissen gestalten. Ich habe mich lange gescheut, diesen Kalender zu kaufen und kann nun sagen: das würde ich immer wieder tun!Das Papier fühlt sich toll an, man kann gut darauf schreiben und ich habe trotz dessen, dass es so dünn ist, habe ich keine Probleme mit Rissen oder Ähnlichem.Alles in allem ein top Produkt!

It lays perfectly flat only if you have a cover on it. The original Hobonichi site offers this Techo and other versions with covers (like a bundle). I’m pretty sure you’ll save more if you purchase from there, because if you get this from Amazon you’re paying not just for the product but also the shipping, so might as well get it from the OG shop.Mine came with some dents in the corner but it’s barely noticeable. The paper quality is mesmerizing honestly. I’ve tried so many different planners and journals and this genuinely is by far the best out there. It’s honestly perfect. If you’re going all in and plan on using the Techo outside of your house, get it from the OG store so you save on shipping and get a cover with it. 11/10
