Absorbs wells, dries quickly, and the hood is adorable
4.5 Stars! The 5 Star elements:The koala bear hood is adorable, with eyes and nose made of black thread and ears that are tightly sewn on so there’s nothing for a baby to pull off and choke on;All of the hems are well sewn with only a couple of very short loose threads that were easy to clip off;the towel is large enough to wrap around a 0-12 month old with corners to spare for drying the baby’s face, hands, and feet;According to the label the material is 100% cotton and it definitely feels and smells like it’s pure cotton with no synthetic fibers or chemical treatments. The 4 star elements:The fabric is a muslin which means it absorbs moisture very easily, though it becomes saturated more quickly than terry or jersey. It’s also not quite as soft as other cotton fabric, either, but it’s certainly not rough, and the trade-off is that muslin air-dries very quickly. Even if I just hang it over a towel bar in a bathroom it’s dry within a few hours or so, and it takes practically no time at all when I pin it up on the clothesline outside. Now I want to find a set of adult-sized towels just like it (minus the hood).

If you don’t mind it being thin it might work for you
Overall I found this to be very thing and the material isn’t dense or closely woven so it’s very easily snagged and doesn’t really absorb much or keep baby warm after bath. It might work better to use for the pool outside, I don’t know. It’s okay, just not great. It’s a bit rough, the size is fine and it dries fairly fast because it doesn’t hold much moisture to begin with. I don’t have any issues with the design as far as the animal like patterned hood.Overall, I think it works in a pinch but I don’t think I would buy more, unfortunately. The design as far as the material and quality go has a lot of room to improve.

Cute towel
Soft towel. It absorbs well but isn’t too thick. Dries well without an issue and has a normal design like other baby towels. It will work well for a 24 inch baby almost 20 lb.

Too thin, not absorbent. Definitely not a towel.
It’s so thin, not absorbent at all.

Cute towel
This towel is larger than I anticipated! It is thin, as others have said, and it isn’t a very soft texture. It hasn’t bothered my baby but I’m not a huge fan of it. The hood is adorable though. It works to dry off my 10 month old after bath time. The colors and design are accurate to the photos. Super cute but I wish it was a smidge thicker and softer, but it ultimately does what it’s suppose to.

Thin and rough
Size-wise, these are perfect for toddlers. The shoulders and arms can be fully wrapped around and the hood comfortably fits around without getting so droopy that it would cover past the face. The bear shape looks just as adorable in-person and the color is a bit more bright and a yellowish brown than I expected, but it still looked fine.Unfortunately, the material is very thin and rough. A comparison that comes to mind are abrasive bath towels that didn’t have softened applied during a wash. It’s not a texture that feels good. Additionally, the towel is very thin and I believe this would not absorb enough moisture from a bath or a pool session. I think this would need to be paired with an actual towel to properly dry someone, which defeats the point of having this in the first place. I would not recommend this and even if I wanted to have it as a cute way to dress up a toddler, the material is unfortunately too rough to be comfortably worn.

Cute Design, But Quality Falls Short
The blue elephant hooded towel is undeniably adorable and the size is nice for a newborn or toddler, but the quality left a lot to be desired. The cotton muslin feels thinner than expected and isn’t as soft or absorbent as I’d hoped—especially important after bath time when keeping baby warm and dry is key. While the design is sweet and the hood adds a cozy touch, the fabric frayed slightly after just a couple of washes. It works in a pinch, but I wouldn’t count on it as your go-to towel. If you’re drawn in by the cuteness, just know that the durability might not match the price tag.
