Not what I expected
This tote bag is not at all what I expected. It is very flimsy and thin material. The size is large, but it is more of a beach bag type of bag not a tote purse.

A bag is a bag, and this one does its job very well. It’s lightweight, surprisingly roomy, and the multiple pockets make it easy to keep things organised without overthinking it. The material feels durable, the size is generous, and it’s perfectly suitable for work, errands, or general everyday carrying. Nothing to complain about — a solid, practical tote.

This is a straightforward tote bag. It has a single zip closure along the top, three (rather baggy) external pockets and one small internal pocket. It comes with a small drawstring bag too. The handles are soft webbing and are securely stitched right down the outside of the bag, which is made from a matt-finish fabric that looks decently strong. Visually it lacks any sense of being a premium item – it’s pretty basic. I probably expected slightly better for the price. It has no rigid or stiff structure at all, which on the plus side means it stows/folds easily, on the down side when it’s nearly empty trying to find anything in it is a bit tricky as it just flops around.It’s handy enough for carrying light shopping, but not small enough to put in a pocket to carry to the shops. It would carry a few jumpers, or is a good size for towels for the beach or pool (although it’s not in any way water resistant).

I want to like this bag because another HOTOR bag we have been using is excellent, however I can’t say the same about this. This tote style bag is made from a thin material which I don’t think is particularly durable. I think the bag is well made overall with decent stitching and a good zip, but it just feels flimsy. There are pockets on the outer but they don’t have any closures at all and things don’t feel especially secure in the pockets. There is also an inner pocket but that doesn’t have a closure either. Included is a small bag with drawstring closure but you can’t get a lot in this tiny little bag.This bag is very light in weight and folds up small(ish) so I think it will be okay to keep in a larger bag for shopping use. You could use it as a tote bag but I do worry about the safety of items. Compared to other HOTOR bags we have, this is a bit of a disappointment, especially at just under £15. I think £10 is a more reasonable price for this. 3 stars.

This is a great little bag, not sure why it is marked for nurses but there you go. I like the fact that it folds down into a small little material “mini bag” for storage, it fits in my book taking up no space at all and is there if I go to the shops and forget to take a carrier bag with me.
