Whether you need a bedside commode, emergency potty, or a simple portapot bucket for camping, this works great. The lide helps keep odors contained until it can be emptied in an appropriate location, and it fits neatly into commercial or homemade toilet setups. It does need to be emptied frequently, and might be a trifle small for family use.

I am giving this four stars because it came with all of the parts even though the handle was detached, I was able to put it on. However, it does cause concern for what some others mentioned regarding carrying it from the commode to the toilet. If I have to do it, I will probably just carry it around the sides to be on the safe side. I purchased some commode liners so I am hoping that will prevent me from having to carry the bucket anywhere and will just be able to pull the bag and toss it at the end of the day. Being a caregiver for my mom I am searching and shopping as I find things and it is amazing how things you didn’t think of exists. However, this bucket does seem to be solid and the lid also, I just am not going to put my faith in the handle and that could also explain the cracks people are experiencing near the top.

Designated puke bowl/bucket
We actually use these as vomit buckets at our house and line them with really cheap garbage can liners (that I found on Amazon, too). Easy to carry, easy to clean up, has a lid, $8, what’s not to appreciate? Now I get to keep my actual bowls and buckets for their intended purpose when someone is sick, rather than sacrifice them to the puke gods.

Handle fell off right out of the package, replaced it and it kept falling off. Bucket is thin material. Would not recommend.

Very good to replace old one. Has better plastic that does not erode in time. Easy to clean. Only one available online with proper measurements. But pricey but need it

The plastic is more durable then the original one. It fits the commode it was bought for well even tho the measurement of it is slightly snsller then the bucket. The bucket seems to be pretty standard size.
