Good Questions and Answers with Explanations for Great learning!
I like this book! We are using it as a tool for our 5th grader to prep for the Math MAP test. She took the pretest – 1st online test over Christmas Break and we are working thru the work book each weekend. Specifically trying to hit the areas she had trouble with on the pre-test. Just before she is scheduled to take the MAP tests at school. We will have her take the online test again probably over spring break. I like that the book it EXPLAINS the answers. I think this is a key to understanding for the student and parent. Why did I give it 4 stars? The website was hard to navigate/to find information. When a student attempts to take the test there are a few options – that I never found the answer to what they were for and I was not able to set up another MAP test for another child with the same sign on. The website says you can do this, but I couldn’t get it to work. I also asked online for Help with this and never received an answer.

Great resource for school MAP test
I purchased this book for my fifth grader to practice for her school MAP test. It’s very helpful and the answer key is an added advantage. She has trouble with word problems and this helps her a lot. I would definitely recommend this book. Very easy to read and follow instructions.

Helpful practice overall for my child. However we found several errors in questions and answers, and some questions are not well designed. The electronic guide not helpful.

This book has been a great tool for MAP math test prep. Access to additional Internet information is also helpful. I also purchased the MAP English book, which was equally as helpful.
