Works awesome!!
These worked awesome! I ordered two so I could rotate. I froze them both overnight before going to work. I kept them in my chest until the day became warm, and then used the first one. It would last a couple of hours even in very hot and humid weather. I would swap it out, put the warm one back in my cooler (I use reusable ice blocks in my cooler), and put the other one on. By the time that one was no longer cooling the first one had refrozen. I was so impressed because I wasn’t sure it would refreeze without lots of ice in there. Highly recommend. And the extra large just gives you more cold time. It’s not about the size of your neck. I am a slightly thinner than average female, and it did not slide off my neck. There was also lots of room for larger necks. 😬Highly recommend if you work outside in hot and humid weather.

Got this for my husband on the hot humid days that my husband works in the yard or mows. It is helpful to stay cool during these tiring days. Works well, helps keeps him cool. Easy to use from putting on and placing it in the freezer

Like many women “of a certain age”, my personal internal thermometer has gone haywire. I’ve tried lots of gadgets to help me, some work and some are a bust. I had bought one of those round-the-neck fans but they are SO LOUD that you can’t even hear the TV over them, and it sounded like I was a jet airliner about to take off, but without a lot of air. Not something you want to be wearing at a picnic or in a movie theater.I saw this and was intrigued, but thought it would probably be all hype. I was wrong and this thing is pretty brilliant in its simplicity.Pop it in the fridge for a bit (I do it until it turns white inside) and then lay it round your neck. Done and done. It stays cool for hours and I was shocked because I haven’t yet (knock on wood) had a hot flash with it on. It cools the back and sides of my neck which tells my brain that I am not shapeshifting into an active volcano. It also lays against my jugular vein which I think might help in cooling my circulatory system. Not so cold that it causes frostbite from leaving it on your skin, as might happen with an ice pack. It doesn’t leak, doesn’t have condensation (what??? seriously…no drippies!), and is not heavy. I bought the peppermint version, which is not too strong – if you don’t like mint smells, you may want to steer away from it, though. Obviously it doesn’t give off sound, so I can surreptitiously have it on in the car or around others without it bothering anyone.It’s super comfortable, though I wouldn’t go to sleep with it on. But if you’re outdoors or just watching TV, you can barely tell it’s circling your neck. I promise you, the next time we go on vacation to a warm climate, this is coming with me.I thought this was just another gimmick. I think it actually works, and is part of my regimen of taming these power surges of mine. PS – Learn from my fail: don’t put it in the freezer because it will freeze rock solid.Hope you have as good results as I did.

20 minutes of bliss — double up!
These feel good and fit any size neck because even frozen they are both easily bendable and durable.Unfortunately, the cool doesn’t last too long, and when it stops, these items become like an insulating scarf, retaining body heat and feeding it back to you. You have to really keep on top of it because the transition from cooling you to heating you happens fast.My partial solution is that I wear two at a time. I have a long neck but even for me, three is uncomfortable for an active person.My sorta-full solution is that I now have six of these, and I swap them out for each other two at a time so I can keep a constant cycle of cooling going. These are durable enough that the cost is worth it if you’re a working person constantly subject to heat stress flattening you out. To me, keeping away from overheating is a health & safety issue. I’m no good to anybody else if I’m woozy from the heat and no good to myself.Note: These lose a lot of their cooling power fairly early. By the time the ice has substantially changed to fluid, you’re already starting to insulate your neck with the heat of your own body. These things are nice, but do not work miracles. And they take longer to freeze to a level worth using than some might suggest. I’d say between 40 to 60 minutes to make the bluish liquid turn to bluish ice and then the coldest white ice, depending on your freezer. Forget the fridge, that’s useless.Use them, enjoy them, but get plenty, and rotate them on and off — and quick! Then you’ll be getting your money’s worth. If you only want to/can buy one or two, don’t bother. You need a rotation of two at a time, truly chilled, or the effect is a weak flash in the pan.

Great product if you want help keeping cool! This product will become *frozen* in your car under the AC or in a an ice water bath or under a very cold water tap. The only issue I have with this one is how thin it is. It thaws way to fast. Do not plan on this lasting for any specific length of time. If it’s really hot out plan on it being totally thawed out in under 10-15 min max. I have a few of them so I can swap them out easily when they thaw.

Really needed this in recent days and it didn’t disappoint. Wish it stayed cold longer, but honestly it does the job just when you need it and it doesn’t take too long to cool down again.

It is comfortable and so easy to use and very effective. I get fierce head sweats ( rivulets from my brain stem and sopping wet hair) as an after effect of the brain and nervous system damage from late-diagnosed European Lyme disease. I use this device several times per day and it makes a huge difference in my comfort because it stops the profuse sweating. I love it. I will be getting another. Brilliant invention.
