EASY TO USE BUT NOT SURE IF I WILL CONTINUE TO USE
I have used these strips twice. The first time for 4 hours as recommended and I found the strip to be easy to adhere to my scar from open heart surgery. It also eased some of the pain that the incision has given me. It was easy to remove and I kept it for further use. I had cut the strip in half lengthwise to fit my scar so yesterday when I was going to be gone from my home, I used the other half to make sure it would stay on. I was not able to remove it after 4 hours as I wanted to because of my location (a wedding & reception) and when I removed it several hours later, the scar/incision was red and looked and felt bad. It was fine this morning, just a little red, and I believe I left the strip on for too long. My surgery was 13 weeks ago and the incision is healed, or so I thought but maybe it is too soon. I still gave a 5 star rating because I think I was not ready for the strips and I will try them again in a few weeks doing it for shorter periods to start as is recommended. I was impressed with the fact that when I used the first time it relieved the discomfort.

Shocked at effectiveness
Honestly, I am flabbergasted at how effective theese are! I am 9 month postpartum (so, a 9 month old scar), and used this for my c section scar (which was my second c section). I had been using silicone gel which worked a bit, and so I knew i wasn’t sensitive to silicone, but decided to try these out to see if it worked better. I’ve had it on for about 23 hours a day for 3 or so days, and it looks like months of healing occurred. My scar was pink and raised maybe a cm or so, and it has already faded in color and has gone from being raised to being significantly less so and much smoother. I can’t wait to see how it works as more time goes on, but I’m already satisfied with the money spent. I’d absolutely highly suggest trying this out! (Kicking myself now for not tsking before and after photos)

Works for entire body
These are a staple in my skincare routine. I use them for my entire body. I have seen a significant improvement in my older scars, they are not so dark and noticeable. I also use them for my face if I’m recovering from a breakout.

Works wonders on Skin break downs!
I bought this due to skin breaking down in my breast area. The skin split and it felt like a burn. Applied the strip (you can cut it to size) and it about 3 days the area was healing. Thankful I found this product.

A lifesaver.
Finally stopped my post-surgery semi-healed wound from being rubbed raw.
The head is not flexible enough. I wouldn’t buy a gain. Very pretty product though –
No keloids
I had a huge scar on my leg that look like it was going to be a keloid. I used this everyday with neosporin. This worked so well. The adhesive is there. From someone who has keloid scars this stuff is the best way to prevent it. Use your FSA OR HSA to cover it.

Disappointing Results
I had high hopes for the Neo G Opti-Heal Wound Recovery Silicone Scar Strips based on the positive reviews and the product claims, but unfortunately, they didn’t work for me. After using them consistently for several weeks on a surgical scar, I saw no noticeable improvement. The strips did stay on fairly well throughout the day, but they were not as comfortable as expected, especially around areas where skin movement is frequent. They also started to peel off after a couple of showers despite being advertised as waterproof. What was most disappointing was the lack of any visible reduction in the scar’s appearance. I followed the instructions carefully and wore them as directed, but the scar looks the same as it did before I started using the strips.Overall, these silicone strips didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for. They might work for some, but in my case, they were an expensive product that did not live up to expectations.

Useful product
These strips helped protect my tender skin after leg surgery. I couldn’t stand to have the covers rub against them. They don’t fall off in the shower but you can easily peel them off when you’re ready. You can trim them to fit and I can wear a sock under my boot without it felling bulky or irritating. The scars don’t appear as raised as they did four weeks ago so maybe they do help with the healing process, unsure about that, but they worked for other requirements in my case.
