Great balm!
I tried what felt like every nipple cream on the market when I had my son. I went through Earth Mama, Frida Mom, Medela, and a few lanolin-based ones from the pharmacy. Some were too thick and sticky, some smelled strange, and others just didn’t seem to do anything at all for my sore, cracked nipples. This Sunborn one is absolutely the Best I’ve tried. The texture is rich and buttery but not sticky. I love the mess-free stick design and how it glides on easily and feels soothing right away. Within a short time, it started helping with my dry, sore nipples and those painful little cracks and irritation from constant nursing. It truly made breastfeeding so much more manageable for me. One of the things I love most is how simple and clean the ingredients are. It’s completely edible, so I never have to worry about wiping it off before feeding. That gave me a lot of peace of mind when I was nursing around the clock and too exhausted to think about one more step. Skip all the other creams and just get this Sunborn one. As a first-time mom, I can’t recommend Sunborn Nipple Balm enough! My lactation consultant recommended this product to me as a natural, baby-safe balm. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing it’s third-party lab-tested and completely safe for baby so there’s no need to wipe it off before nursing. The texture is super smooth, and I love the mess-free twist-up design. I used this religiously during the first few months of nursing, and it truly worked wonders. I never had issues with soreness or cracking. I also have to pump a lot now that I’m back at work, and this doubles as a great lubricant that makes pumping so much more comfortable!

Better than Lanolin!
I got this nipple balm to replace my old lanolin nipple balm because I couldn’t deal with the lanolin stickiness anymore. I am so glad I found the Sunborn nipple balm instead! The design is a twist-up stick, which is mess-free and so easy to apply with one hand (huge when you’re holding baby or pumping in the middle of night!). It has a thick but smooth texture, glides on easily, and is not sticky at all. It has been very effective at soothing and healing my cracks from cluster feeding, and I’m now using it both before and after feeding. Another plus is that it doubles as a highly moisturizing chapstick in the middle of the night!Highly recommend! A must-have for early breastfeeding days!

sold on the ingredients and design
Love that the item is made with natural food safe ingredients, this is a big consideration when buying products that will come in contact with a newborn baby. I am also glad to see it’s a US based product. I don’t doubt the quality of the ingredients, and the packaging does have a luxe organic feel, but for the 48$ price point this would not be something I re-purchase especially considering competitor price points for other organic nipple balms. I will say the amount in this stick is very generous. this would probably last longer than the 6 month shelf life, and I think I will need to come up with other uses for it beyond nipple balm since just a few swipes a day is enough for me. i do like that it’s not sticky/tacky like other lanolin based nipple creams. I wonder if it could double as a chafing stick for my thighs and I may try that after the 6 month shelf life. the design of the applicator is nice, I like that it swipes on like deodorant and you dont actually have to touch the product with your hands. a mini version of this at a lower price point would be worth considering.

My Go To Baby Shower Gift!
I gave Nipple Balm to my friend’s daughter and she loves it! She is not experiencing the typical soreness and chapping and is thrilled that it’s safe for the baby to nurse after she applies it. 10/10 you need this, superior product
This is a FANTASTIC product. First time mom dealing with breastfeeding / pumping and the format of this stick (not having to use my fingers) and the texture are perfection. The lanolin balms that everyone talks about are sooo sticky and hard to apply and this one is incredible. Purchased my first one for my nursery and just got another one for downstairs and another one for my diaper bag. I don’t know why more people don’t speak about this product and share it widely but I am SO glad I found it now and not later on in my pumping and feeding journey, it is exactly what I needed and I don’t think I could continue without it. Hoping and praying they never discontinue it.

Ease of application is a plus
As a breastfeeding mama I needed relief. I like that this product is organic. Healthier than most ointments, so safe for baby. But the moisture level isnt as good as I was hoping. I have to put a good amount on for any relief. The ease of application is a plus, as it just rolls on and no mess. It does let your nips breathe unlike most creams. Its more of a oily texture. I suggest silver cups to put over the nips after use so it doesnt immediately rub off. For the quality the price is high.
