Clean ingredients
Having clean ingredients in a diaper rash cream is extremely important to me so when I found this one I was ecstatic. It works well for my baby. I have already purchased a second jar!

Worth it
Absolutely love this product. If it gets cold it’s hard to spread so you have to warm it up in your hand before applying. It smells so good and does an excellent job as a barrier in my babies diaper. It can be used all over if you want I do sometimes but for the price I want it to last. I’d say the price is the only downside but you can’t beat the quality.

It can be used for so many different things. I ordered it for our new baby because they have sensitive skin and I thought the ingredients looked great. I’ve used it myself on stretch marks and have had no negative reactions, it feels so soft and moisturizing. It absorbs well into your skin and it doesn’t cause any irritation. Would definitely recommend great quality for the price.

easily spreadable and moisturizing
This organic diaper balm is very thick and rich, but surprisingly easy to spread and absorb. This is my first time using tallow product in general. I have tried it on baby’s skin and diaper area, he seems to tolerate it well. I would love to try the product when he has eczema too. I also appreciate the product being in a glass jar since we are trying to reduce plastic for baby products. That being said, I do have some issues with the product. The first thing I noticed is that the product has grains in it which I don’t think is supposed to be the case with tallow. There’s probably an issue with the manufacturing process. Second I do feel the scent is a bit strong, I do know that the scent from natural ingredients but all my other baby products are completely fragrance free. For diapering, I also prefer a tube product for hygiene purposes but I think tallow may be too thick for it to be not in a jar.

Using for Stretch Marks
I was drawn to this balm/salve for the clean, organic ingredients list, and for an alternative usage to diaper ointment: stretch mark balm! I love that the base ingredient (tallow) is like a skin superfood, rich in vitamins A and E, which are known to help promote skin elasticity and collagen production, and even further supported in this balm with other known skin nourishing boosters like beeswax, jojoba and shea butter – all things that have been highly recommended to me to help my postpartum belly regain elasticity and to hopefully help shrink and fade some gnarly stretch marks I have in postpartum. I’ve paid an arm and a leg for various creams and oils to help my mom belly, but this balm contains basically everything I’ve tried prior to this stuff, while feeling richer and more nourishing compared to oils and creams. It’s truly so soothing, does not irritate my sensitive skin, smells delightful and absorbs much better than a petroleum based baby ointment.I have rosacea and my baby has baby eczema. This does not irritate either of us and actually really helps soothe his dry patches around his brow line, though I do feel it’s a little too scented for my baby (personal preference). It’s a light, spring-y, natural scent that isn’t perfumey or overwhelming on my skin, however. No artificial dyes in this, nothing on the list of ten ingredients that I had to research or fret over being skin-safe for myself or baby, which is a huge relief in itself.The texture is soooo good. A tiny bit goes a very long way – one full fingertip (a little less than a teaspoon) of this stuff covers me from belly to back, with enough to spare for some small spot treatments and dry patches. It feels silky smooth, is helping smooth the deep-set ridges of my stretch marks and does not feel sticky if I apply it directly after taking a shower. Does not leave any residue on my clothing either. I’ve used it nightly for the week I have had it and feel like it’s actually helping to soothe my stretched out, stressed, overly dry postpartum belly skin.I love this stuff and will continue using for stretch mark care. While the jar is small, it’s worth every penny for the quality ingredients, even application and natural collagen boosting that will hopefully help my mom pooch heal up pretty quickly.
