Baby slides forward
I love the concept. How easy it is to put away. The only thing I don’t like about it is the baby slides forward in it even though she’s strapped in because the seat isn’t actually flat, it slants.

This seemed like a really nice seat, but I took it out of the box and took one look at the fabric and it seemed way to high maintenance to me so I packed it right back up and sent it back

Extremely sturdy, confusing clasps
I ordered this portable hook-on high chair for my in-law’s house, since they don’t have a second high chair for my 7 month old. I was hoping to attach it to their table, but I failed to consider that most dining tables have a “skirt” of wood around the edge that makes it impossible to put this on. My dining table also has the wood that blocks the chair from attaching. Because of this, I tested it on a small bench I had at my house (see photos).The chair’s material looks different than all of the listing photos- because all the listing photos are ai generated. This is why I removed a star. The material is more shiny and canvas-like than the cloth material generated by ai.It is EXTREMELY sturdy when attached. I was hesitant to use this at all, but would’ve completely confident using it now that I’ve seen how well attached it is.The harness is a bit of a bother, but I do understand the need for a four-point harness when the baby is just hanging there. It strangely has to be latched around a band of cloth in the front (no other way to explain it, it’s confusing!). My baby was very upset when we put him in because it reminded him of his car seat lol.This holds my 7 month old, but would probably be a better size for my 2.5 year old. So it’s got quite the range of sizes. I think the attached bag underneath is very cool, along with the fact that it collapses down!I’d recommend this if the above issues don’t concern you and you’re confident that your table will hold it! When I ordered it, the price was around $55, but now it is $35, which feels like a fantastic price for the quality you are getting!
