Practical gift was well received & it went straight into the new bag. Fit was perfect & the various pockets will be great for organizing everything. It also fills-out the shape nicely, so the structure of the is stable and good-looking.

Functional but not perfect
I have not used my Longchamp bag for years because it doesn’t have any sort of organization. I don’t know why I bought it. The nice thing about this purse organizer insert for the Longchamp Le Pliage tote bag is it helps solve that problem. It could make the bag usable again.I like the feeling of the felt and it seems to keep its structure in the bag but almost a little too much. It doesn’t fit quite right and makes the bag bulkier than it should be. Maybe if the sides of the insert popped out in the opposite direction to conform to the sides of the bag vs collapsing in like a paper bag it would be better and wouldn’t make the bag so thick….just a thought.It seems to be well made and I do like that it has the pockets on inside, the zipper pocket, the space for a water bottle or tumbler and the space for you to slide in a tablet. But I also love that they left a lot of room in the middle. Some of the inserts seem over-organized which leads to me looking through pockets and pouches trying to find things. This is very simple. I also love the high sides. In a bag like the Longchamp, you need that because the sides are unstructured. It is missing the one thing that I really wish it had and that was the lanyard for your keys. That is a must for me.I think the regular price right now of around $23 is high but the coupon price of around $12 is a steal. Overall, this insert does what it says it’s going to do and keeps it clean and efficient if you can get beyond it making the bag a little bulky.

Perfect for the Longchamp Le Pliage large tote!
This insert is just what I was looking for. My Longchamp Le Pliage does not have support on the bottom and I’m not a fan of that. This insert is the perfect size, sturdy and great for keeping my items organized.I’ve included a photo of the bag for reference.

Great for more than just bags
I don’t have the bag this was designed for, but I find it very useful all the same in my small personal space to hold books, stationary supplies and crafting supplies. Also very useful for changing between bags as well-it’s a contained catch-all with organization so that you can retrieve the things you’re actually looking for.Considering I’m using it at home, the black is perfect for a minimalist look in open space. If I was putting it in a purse regularly, I’d have gone lighter. That said, it is super compatible with general floppy totes and will be great for those uses.If you have the popular IKEA Kallax shelves, it fits well on those (takes up with width at its long side, or can fit well next to objects if inserted on its long side.It is the height of an A5 notebook, making it perfect for protecting and carrying if that’s your preferred size. Letter size (and A4) fit well horizontally.I love that it collapses well, also, which increases its versatility—looking at you, conferences that give floppy totes that are black holes.The felt is of course not wool felt but it seems dense and should be easy to clean. When I poured a bit of water on it, it beaded off for the most part and did not soak in.My one wish would be low profile handles at the top, which I imagine would also ease removal from the bag, but otherwise this is a great organizer. I appreciate the open space for my uses, and the slim side pocket and water bottle/umbrella pocket are both useable or unobtrusive if not in use. There are plenty of slip pockets and the zipper is smooth with fine teeth that won’t catch my nails (a pet peeve of many zippers).

Holds shape & has big pockets
I initially opened this and placed it in front of my closet before leaving my apartment. When I returned, I had another package. I used this purse insert to house a 10 pack of adult diapers in preparation for a New Year’s Eve in Times Square! Extra space on all sides. This insert is BIG. ((In my pic, half folded wash cloth near for perspective.)) This large black felt insert is so sturdy that it can be used as a stand alone organizer in a closet or on an ikea shelf.Ok, so when I had time, I placed the insert in my usual tote and found it to be helpful in keeping the tote’s shape while leaving enough empty space at the top of the tote for flexibility when the tote was over my shoulder.. This was the primary reason I wanted this insert. So, terrific value and functionality for my purpose.I wish there was a center divider for separating purse items from lunch items, but I knew that limitation when ordering.As for appearance and ease of use, I would prefer a lighter color (which wasn’t available at the time) so I could find my items more easily. My other smaller inserts are light and lined with a silkier texture which allows easier cleaning but needs more frequent cleaning. So I guess texture is a toss up based on personal preference.The pockets are deep and not great for short (most typical) chapsticks but are perfect for medium to long lipsticks, nail files, and other small but a bit longer (4-6”) items which would cause drooping pockets in my small tote inserts. My iphone 17 pro max has its own dedicated pocket and peeks out the top for easy grabbing.All in all, it does the job.
