Solid gate for pets and kids, but more semi-permanent than portable
I got this gate for my dogs so we can leave the door open on nice days without them running in and out. It works great once it’s set up, but there are a few things I wish I’d known before buying it.This isn’t the kind of gate you can pop in and out quickly. It’s more of a semi-permanent setup. You can remove it, but when you do, the end pieces will fall out, so it’s a bit of a hassle if you plan to move it often. If that’s your plan, you might want a one-piece gate instead.Once it’s installed though, it’s very sturdy. The pressure needs to be just right or the door won’t close properly, so make sure you measure your doorway and figure out which extenders you’ll need before setting it up. It took me a little trial and error to get everything aligned, but once I did, it fit perfectly. My doorway is 38 inches and I used both extenders.Now that it’s in place, it’s doing exactly what I wanted, the dogs can’t run out or bark every time someone walks by the backyard. Huge win! The gate door itself opens easily for adults, but it has a double-latch safety feature that would also make it great for babies or toddlers.Overall, once you get it set up, it’s sturdy and works really well. Just expect to spend a little time getting it right at first.

Great quality for the price
The gate looks super sturdy right out the package it’s very well made and I like that the frame is a solid metal the lock works great I love that it swings both ways and lock easily by being pushed close I feel like this gate had a ton of great features and a really good value. It fit great and was a very easy instillation I would definitely buy another one if I needed.

Awesome Gate! Highly recommend!
It’s outstanding, I’ve had the same one since 2019. I love it, and would highly recommend! Here’s a couple tips to make life easier. I purchased the baby gate wall protectors , it was 10 dollars for 4 , because I rent so wanted to add them for extra hold and protection, also your gate will arrive with zip ties holding the door closed perfectly, DO NOT CUT THESE ZIP TIES UNTIL GATE IS FIRMLY IN PLACE AND EXACTLY WHERE YOU WANT IT! It will make keeping the exact pressure perfect, and the gate so so easy to install! And perfectly even with no problems whatsoever. You can open and close with one hand, I cannot because I have arthritis in my hands, and lack coordination. Someone said in a review that the gate only swings one way, not true, at the bottom there is a plastic piece you can adjust to make it only open one way or the other way or both ways. I leave it so it can swing either way that’s up to you. Very sturdy, looks great, stays looking great!

Good gate with one potential major design flaw

I purchased 3 for my home.1. The tension gates are made of metal and quite sturdy. My toddler pushed on it repeatedly with his entire body weight and it wouldn’t move (however, it is still critical to always ensure that every child at watched while at the gate).2. Installation was easy and fast as the first gate took me 1 hour, the second one took me 30 minutes while the third one was done in 15 minutes. Additionally, no drilling and no special tools were required.3. 2 extensions came with the gate and are handy for different sized locations.4. The gate doors can open up in either direction which is quite helpful.5. A toddler cannot open this gate as it has 2 buttons (one push-button and another press button) that require movement simultaneously with the use of mild strength. This usually requires fine motor skills and the strength of a much older child or adult.Things to remember:The item is correctly setup with tension if and only if the locking mechanism slot is green in color when the gate is open.Recommendation:I personally recommend getting a baby gate wall protector cup (separate purchase and comes in a pack of 4) to prevent wall damage and offer additional grip. A simple search of “Baby Gate wall protector cup” will provide the necessary search results. Most wall protector cups fit this gate size.Biggest concern:The reason why I only gave this item 3/5 stars is because the threaded metal spindle rod and connection to the wall keeps breaking off. This has happened on all 3 of my gates, though the gates still remain intact. This can compromise the integrity of the gate as the tension can loosen over time. Additionally, I could not find spare parts on Amazon or the company page. So, even though I generally love this gate, I can only give it 3/5 stars until this potential design flaw is addressed.Customer service:Reaching customer service by email about the previously listed concern was a bit challenging and time-consuming.

Wow! Great gate. Read the one stars and wondered if we were on the same planet.
My helper put it together and installed it in about five minutes. It’s easy to open and keeps my new rescue dog out of my closet which doesn’t have a door. it seems sturdy enough but my 60 pound dog doesn’t challenge it. I’m thrilled with it. My only complaint is that I need a second one but this one with a small kitty door as the new pup thinks it’s fun to chase the kitty. NOT! Sure would like it if you made one. It would be nice to get a matching one since they can be seen together.

Si tu marco de la puerta donde la vas a poner tiene soclo, o está desnivelado, no importa, porque se ajusta de sus 4 soportes para nivelarse. Me gusta que se abra la puertita para que puedas pasar sin tener que brincarla o quitarla toda, tiene doble seguro, uno arriba y otro abajo. No se necesita taladro para instalarla, se sujeta a presión. La compré para separar a mis perros, son tranquilos, y funciona para ellos, no la pueden brincar, pero creo que para un perro muy ágil no funcionaría, es resistente, no la pueden morder

So long as the width of your entrance is 32″ or less, it is a breeze to set up. Literally twist in the stoppers and go. At first I was worried it would not stay in place, but the grip is as firm as anything. Now there’s no chance for my dog to get into the kitchen hehehehe.

la use para la cocina, mi hijo no puede pasar, tiene buena seguidad y no se abre tan facil, lo qe la hace muy buena. NO la recomiendo instalarla en las escaleras por que estas no tienen puntos de anclaje a la pared, solo son apretarlar por medio de goma y que hagan presion, asi que si un niño o mascota algo pesadas se recarga, puede caerse o desacomodarse.

This is a really great gate! Install was fast and easy, it stays put even with baby hanging off and shaking it, and the best part is how easy it is to open and close. Can be opened one handed in a jiffy with baby in my arms, and can be swung closed no problemo. I love that it has the option to open in either direction or both ways. We opted to let it open in only one direction which perhaps makes it easier to swing it closed. The red/green lock safe mechanism is a nice touch too, though it would have been better if it was red/blue (colorblind friendly).
