Favorite Baby Gate
This has been our favorite baby gate by far it has an easy one-hand opening feature, but is challenging for toddlers. I do wish it auto closed, but all the other features make up for it. You can set it up to swing whichever way you want, it’s easy for an adult to take on and off the wall if you need to move it out of the way (so not retractable, but removable and easy to pop on and off as needed). It’s also width adjustable to fit your opening.My favorite feature though, is that it has no trip bar at the bottom – which is needed if it’s at the top of the stairs, and definitely a nice feature to have anywhere else. It’s been very high quality and feels very stable. We have one that’s still going strong after 3 years. We’ve also bought others in that time. I will never buy a different baby gate again!

Sturdy, Secure, and Easy to Use
This gate is very well built and thoughtfully designed. Installation was straightforward—not overly complicated—and the instructions were clear. Once installed, it operates smoothly and feels very secure. One of the best features is that it can swing in either direction, which adds flexibility depending on your space. Most importantly, it’s difficult enough that a toddler can’t open it, which gives us peace of mind. A great safety solution that looks and functions well.

Great gate to allow the door to stay open with dog(s) inside
I have this gate at my front door. It took my customers a little bit to figure out how to hit the button and lift, but it really looks nice and let’s my dog watch the world go by. We also get a nice summer breeze with the door open. It was adjustable and after a few tweaks it opens and closes smoothly and is perfectly level. I think the color is perfect: not black but still blends in with the decor. I like it. The dog agrees.

Not super easy to remove if used as temporary gate
I got this gate to prevent young grandchildren from accessing the top of the stairs to my lower level. One of the reasons I chose it was because it could be removed and rehung for temporary use. I don’t want the gate in place when the grandkids are not here, and it would look really weird to leave it hanging along the staircase wall when not in use.The description states: “To remove and store your gate, press the button on the hinge cover and lift the gate up.”Well, yes, that is how you remove it. But the button itself is incredibly difficult to push in far enough to lift off the plastic piece that it locks in place. I can’t even do it using just my fingers, and it has to be done for both the top and bottom hinge cover. And it’s not that way for child safety purposes because the actual latch for opening and closing the gate is much, much easier to operate. So know that if you will use the gate on a temporary basis like I do, you may struggle getting it off the hinges each time.Everything else has been great about this gate. Installation was a bit tricky (especially because I have thick baseboards) but not too bad. Operation is great and the gate feels very sturdy. My daughter was trying to rehang the gate while also holding her toddler and broke off the plastic support rod on the bottom hinge, but the company sent a replacement hinge set immediately – great customer service. Probably would be good if they used a metal pin for that part.

Gate = baby-proofing w/ ease
After doing a lot of research, I settled on this baby gate for the top of our stairs. We live in a two bedroom apartment with stairs inside that lead to our living space, so we needed a quality gate as we have two young children.The installation was a breeze following the instructions provided and utilizing a stud finder. Not only does it look nice, but after having the gate for a couples months I can say I am satisfied with this purchase.The gate is sturdy, quick to unlock while still preventing little hands from escaping. The width is perfect with our stairway as it’s easily adjustable, and the dimensions matched the description well.

WE LOVE THIS GATE! It is easy to use, easy to install and even has a feature to lock it. We love that the gate can swing both directions and is so easy to adjust in case it gets pulled on or misaligned. Wish there were a couple more color options but this is a gate baby gate! Definitely worth the buy, the quality is great, design is good and works perfectly at the top of our stairs.

These are the best baby gates we’ve had. Not only do they look nice, and fit a wide variety of door and stairways, but they include templates to make them very easy to install. They gates are strong and shut securely, when adjusted. Excellent product!

Best gate I have ever bought
I’ve gone through many gates that my two-year-old has broken many different doorways. I’ve used the same gate at the bottom of my stairs in the hallway and I’ve even bought another one to cover his doorway. This allows me to keep the dogs out my crawling seven month old and my two year-old to have their separate spaces. It does make a clunk noise when you open and close it but as long as you take your time to close it, it will be quiet.You can make it just tall enough that you can hike your leg over, but the fact that it goes into the wall and into studs is perfect. He runs full force into it with his bike with no damage. I have fallen climbing over and it still stood up. The swing functionality is fantastic and worth every penny as this is my third. I will continue to keep buying thisThis is a very strong gate and I will definitely make sure that anyone who’s looking for a baby gate takes this gate exactly under consideration 10/10
