Updated 9/24/16Well, the kid is 3 and potty trained, and sure enough, this was the ONLY changing pad we’ve had the entire time he was in diapers! Just a great product, and if i could give it more than 5 stars, I would!Original review from March 2014:I bought this changing pad after reading the positive reviews on Amazon, and I am so happy I did! I have been using it for nearly 9 months now with my baby, and it was one of the best baby-related purchases I have made. For one thing, it’s waterproof. Yes, it actually is, and you don’t need a cloth cover for it at all. I just lay a towel or soft cloth on it and put my baby on it to change him. He’s a boy, so we’ve had any number of ‘accidents’ while changing him, and it’s no biggie. Just wipe it down, and you’re good to go. You can even get the bigger messes off this easily, though it’s easier to hose it down than to try and get the poop out of the little perforation-designs on the pad. (Those “perforations” would be the only downside of this product.)We’ve always used this on the ground so I can’t speak to the attaching strap. We’ve also only recently started using the strap to keep my baby in place since the contoured sides prevented him from rolling off for the longest time. My baby has loved his changing pad from day 1. In fact, he would calm down when we put him on it, and in many cases has even fallen asleep on it! In fact, the hubby and I joked that we should use this as his bed and get rid of the crib – smaller, lighter, cheaper, and transportable, lol 🙂 (Just kidding, do NOT use it as a bed!)To summarize, buy this and save yourself time and effort looking for anything else. I would buy this again in a heartbeat if needed, though I see this one lasting for quite a while longer!

Replaced the cheap changing pad my non-potty trained autistic 4.5 y/o destroyed!
I know there isn’t much to say about a changing pad, but this is a well made, soft yet firm enough to get the job done and support your rug rat! The straps and buckles are also well made and durable.Here’s the thing with us. My 4.5 year old boy is autistic, non-verbal and not yet potty trained. He’s a big boy though and has completely destroyed the old cheap foam changing pad we used for him when he was a baby. The thin plastic/vinyl covering has ripped in numerous places and the foam has started flaking off (see pics). Since my boy is too big for changing tables, we just use it to change him right on the floor and it works just fine. I don’t know how much longer it will be before we can potty train him but we really needed a new one! This one has been great! It fit perfectly in the changing pad cover that we had for the old one.Trust me, if this changing pad can hold up to a 50 lb 4.5 year boy with autism, it can support your baby! It has nice high sides that are firm and will keep your little one from rolling off the side. I feel very comfortable recommending this to anyone! Wonderful whether you install it or just move it about as is
The family and I are currently living in a nice little basement apartment of a house… with not a heck of a lot of room for baby gear at the moment. Oh, we get by very well, but Baby is rooming with her parents and the changing table we were offered just did not have a potential home.So someone recommended to just get a changing pad I could just stick anywhere.This one is GREAT. I was a little surprised at the size, but I don’t mind it at all. It’s very well on the bathroom counter and of course on my so far preferred place, the floor (so sue me, I’m nervous about Baby falling still). Really, if you have enough room, you can stick this anywhere. It’s also very light, so can be flung anywhere out of the way only to be rescued–a plus for those first few chaotic days.The contours are indeed a blessing if Baby bum is to be changed up somewhere high, as well as the handy straps.The surface? Just what a diaper changing station should be. Soft, but sturdy… and very easy to clean, trust me.This is great for those who don’t want to shove in a whole changing table, though this is all set up to be installed to a table. A wonderful buy.

I had a curved one but my newborn always moro-reflexes on them, the curve makes him think he’s falling and I feel bad for him so we replaced it with a flat one. I give it 4 stars because the harness doesn’t help with making sure the baby do not fall off the dresser. The bed is too light that when the baby rolls off, even with the belt on, it just gets carried along. Leaving the baby isnt recommended ofcourse.

Great design and value
This is not very think, but works perfectly for a change and has the strap to hold baby in if necessary. It’s not cloth, but you can lay a towel or other cloth down if you want that OR if there’s a blowout! The curved design is wonderful and our grandson loves laying on it. We placed it on a cupboard/nook area in our home and it’s great.

Super product. Met the expectations. Initially I thought the width is not enough. But quite enough space for little infants it offers. Since length wise it is designed so that some leftovers can be kept during change. Stuff wise both foam and cover are good quality. In this price range, i would definitely recommend

great item, only flaw I found was straps came out as not sewn in very well, but did not rip out so easily mended, also did catch my son carrying by the straps so that may not of helped
